So so happy got a portable DVD player for Christmas from my parents and best believe Over the Garden Wall is the first thing being played on it (feeling cosy af rn)

I’ve seen a lot about your thoughts on Elisabeth and Tanz der Vampire, and they’ve been really helpful getting into those musicals! But you have a huge list of other musicals that people can get into…

So I was wondering if you had any musicals you hadn’t mentioned in a while that you really like or would like to talk about??? (preferably something from your lists that has a blue heart please?)

Oh if only you knew how long the list of European musicals really is... I however have only seen 9 (if I counted right) and I have a lot more that I still need to watch. Oh also, I only put the blue hearts on any musicals that I was providing multiple links for so people could see which version I reccoment the most highly. If a musical only had one link and didn't have a blue heart it doesn't mean I didn't like it.

I've watched: Mozart das Musical, Elisabeth das Musical, Tanz der Vampire, 3 Musketiers, Mozart L'Opéra Rock, Dracula (the Graz production), Rebecca das Musical, Roméo et Juliette and Schikaneder.

If you enjoyed those two you're likely to enjoy Rebecca! It's written by the same composer/lyricist team as Elisabeth and Mozart (and same lyricist as Tanz der Vampire - though if you're listening to any German musical, original or translated, 90% of the time the lyrics will have been done by Michael Kunze that man is everywhere). The Stuttgart production has my favourite set design of any musical! Well... Actually probably. There are so many big set pieces it's insane, way more than I've seen in some Broadway and West End musicals. You can tell so much work went into it and the visual effects that I won't spoil if you don't know the plot but if you know the plot you know what I mean by the effects at the end are so good and I didn't expect them at all and I freaked out so much the first time I watched it. Jan Ammann as Maxim in the Stuttgart production is the best Maxim. No I won't take any argument. Other actors feel a bit one-dimensional to me, but the way Maxim acts at times comes from trauma and some actors and productions seem to forget that, but Jan really goes for it and his Maxim is a lot more sympathetic and I just want to give him a hug. Pia Douwes as Mrs Danvers, if you've seen her in Elisabeth what more do I need to say, she's amazing. A musical goddess. Her Danny is a bit more wild than some, but she kills it. My favourite video, which I put the blue heart next to, has understudy Christina Patten as Ich/I, but I adore her she's my favourite. She adds some spunk to Ich in act 2 and her voice is so pretty and aaaa. I just love these three actors together in these roles.

Roméo et Juliette is another favourite of mine! It's hard to choose which one to recommend, but it has to be the original 2000/2001 production because of the sweetness and chemistry and voices of Damien Sargue and Cecilia Cara as Romeo and Juliet. They're so pretty and work together so well. The only reason I say it's hard to pick is Mercutio. I adore him, but in the original production they cut out a song they had planned for him and he doesn't really do much at all? In the 2010 revival they gave him two more songs and you care about him so much more and John Eyzen plays such a good Mercutio. So I'd recommend the original but if you want to like Mercutio more, which you should he's amazing, I'd recommend watching at least clips of John's. It's an interesting musical because all productions are non-replica and also change around the order of songs, add or take away characters, all sorts. The Hungarian production is also very popular and I'm sure it's great, I just haven't' gotten around to watching it yet.

Mozart das Musical was the first non-English language musicals I watched so I have a fondness for it, but it's not my favourite. However, I do realise I have forgotten most of the songs and the few I've gone back and listened to are better than I remember.

Dracula isn't super popular and I understand why, I don't love the plot of the Dracula/Mina romance in it, however. I do love this musical because despite how I find the plot lacking, the songs are so good! At least, I love them. And the actors are all doing a great job. And it's one of the few Dracula adaptions to keep Quincy Morris so they get bonus points for that.

Mozart L'Opéra Rock and modern French musicals... This isn't necessarily a bad thing, but they're often more like pop-rock operas now. So if you're not into musicals with that style of music it might not be for you, but I still enjoyed it even though I didn't think I would because of the style of music. Mozart and Salieri's chemistry is very good, Salieri's bisexual crisis song is iconic, actually all of Salieri's songs are iconic.

Schikaneder... eh. I didn't like it that much and I didn't really like any of the songs. There's no English subtitles, but someone sent me the entire English synopsis and I watched it with a German friend so I had double the help of understanding it. Doesn't mean others might not like it, just none of the songs stood out to me and I had no desire to listen to any of them again. It's by Steven Scharwz of Wicked fame and I love Wicked, but I didn't love this.

3 Musketiers!! God it's so underrated and not spoken about within the European musical fandom that I even forget about it and literally forgot to write about it earlier in this post. It's a Dutch musical (though did also have a German production) and it's really good!? Faces you might know are Pia Douwes as Milady de Winter, Stanley Burlseon as Cardinal Richeliu (Netherlands Der Tod in Elisabeth), Henk Poort as Athos (Netherlands Phantom and Jean Valjean). The dialgoue is funny, the songs are good, some of the set pieces have no right to exist in this tiny musical?? They made this giant boat and pelt the actors with rain just for one 5 minute song and then we never see the boat again? And while I recommend the Dutch one because Dutch musicals deserve more love and it has official English subtitles!! Official ones, not fanmade! I have the DVD and it comes with English subtitles (and Dutch and German subtitles) which is so nice. The German version is also good, good cast, Pia came back and Uwe Kroger as Richeliu and omg they rearranged the songs and the German arrangement of Nicht Aus Stein is insane and amazing and frankly iconic.

That's all of the ones I have watched. Next on my list to watch are Rudolf and Notre Dame de Paris, both of which I have listened to some songs from and already love (I've listened to way too much of Notre Dame de Paris and am so in love).

I want to start organising streams where I'll host the musical either by getting the video from Youtube or my own files and anyone who wants to join can come along and watch with us, chat with us if you want or just watch there's no pressure to chat. I thought about doing weekly streams? This would also make me finally watch some of the ones I've been meaning to for ages. But I keep wondering about time zones. I'm in the UK and would want to stream at about 11pm at the latest (11pm BST/GMT+1 as we’re in daylight savings at the moment, if the streams continue past the end of October which would be wild then I’ll make a note of the time change that would be to 11pm GMT), which I know can work for other UK and Europeans, but for any Americans would be in the afternoon. So, I wondered if doing it on a weekend would be better? Then it doesn't matter if it's in the afternoon? Maybe Saturday evenings then? It would either be Saturday evenings UK time or Friday evenings UK time. What do you guys think? If people are down then I'll make a separate post with a list of what we'll be watching each week and if anything happens to me that means I can't stream one week then everything will just get pushed back a week, but I don't see that as likely to happen. And I'll only be streaming those that have English subtitles, so don't worry about not being able to understand anything.

edit: am also open to 10pm bst if others want that, im just trying to think of what time works best for everyone so sorry if 11pm is a little late for europeans, i know 10pm could be a little early for americans. also in case it sounded like these are the only musicals i will be streaming, thats not so, ive got more than just the ones mentioned on this list!

On a early Tuesday morning where the sun was barely grazing the orange sky, you sat by your windowsill. You were dreamily staring out into the halo that was a mixture of red and orange. The halo of greyish clouds matched your mood to a complete tee. The aesthetic beauty of nature wasn’t enough to make you smile or even blink twice, however. It was always like this though. Yet something about this scene made you go sour.

Releasing a sigh, you stepped away from the window, shutting the curtains. Another day, the same thing. All you could do was attempt to power through.

As you lazily pulled your shirt over your head, you had managed to dodge that annoying dog. The little brat wasn’t even yours, but your oh-so loving step-sister’s. He always had a affinity for making your room a hot mess.  Only yours in particular. 

“Get out of here you little-.” you chased the dog out of your room, slamming your door as it scurried off. “What did you screw up this time?” you curiously scanned the room. Everytime that little fluffy beast rammed his little head into your personal space, something would end up broken, ripped, shattered, or completely destroyed beyond repair. 

You almost screamed when you saw a familiar book cover on the floor. You instantly dropped to your knees, praying to yourself that it wasn’t true. The cover had a pretty violent looking rip along with the first few pages. 

Your absolute reason for waking up in the morning was tarnished. A signed cover of BTS Universe Issue #1. Probably your one and only favorite series on planet Earth. You gingerly picked up the book, trying to inspect it with hopes that the damage was minimal. As little as this was, you almost felt like crying. However there was no time, you needed to tape up the pages and fast! Who cares if you missed breakfast.

“Morning Y/N!” Your step-dad greeted you in the kitchen. “You were upstairs an awful long time, I was about to send your mother to see if you were still up playing that game of yours!” he smiled warmly.

“Thanks Mr. Chai.” you replied politely. “I’m sorry I’m so late.”

“You know...Y/N...you could call me Dad.” he set a plate down on the table. “I know I’m not your father, but I want to be the best father-figure for you because I know...you haven’t really had that.”

You had to stop yourself from saying anything else. You haven’t had the best parental relationship, and your new step-dad really was trying. Maybe it was just his daughter that drove you nuts.

“Thank you.” you replied, smiling. “...Dad.” you winked, making finger guns. “Geez! You made a lot of food for just the four of us”

“ Well you ain’t see muffin, yet!” he winked. “You and Nari have a busy day today. She auditioning and you, my friend....well I don’t know exactly what you have planned for the day.”

“I’ll tell you if we can skip the food related puns.” you sat down at the table. It was a rule that everyone waited for everyone else. Even though you had taken the extra time to repair your copy of BTS Universe, you had seemed to be the first person down the stairs. In all honesty, you were just going to hang out at the comic store until Nari called to tell you she was done.

“Hey now, Donut kill my vibe!” he continued, laughing. “I have a million more of these, come on. Don’t go bacon my heart, Y/N.”

“Good job Y/N, you’ve gotten him started.” You mom came down the stairs in her little blazer and pencil skirt. “Whatever will we do now.”

“He did it himself, the guy’s an animal! You married a wild child, mom.” you joked. “He might just be a serial killer.”

“Don’t you mean...cereal killer?” he held up a box of Raisin Bran to make his point. You could only shake your head as your mother and step-father laughed together. Food related humor so early in the morning had to mean today wasn’t going to be a horrible as it started, at least for you.

“WHERE ARE MY THIGH HIGH BOOTS!” you heard a screech from upstairs. “THEY BETTER NOT BE IN YOUR ROOM, Y/N!”

“...WHY WOULD I WANT TO WEAR YOUR SHOES!” you yelled back after taking in a deep breath. “NARI, IF I WANTED TO BREAK MY ANKLES, I’D HAUL MYSELF DOWN THE STAIRS.”

“When will you two get along?” your mom shook her head. “It’s been three years.” 

“We don’t not get along.” You shook your head. “Not my fault she’s difficult.”

“I can think of a few times you’ve been difficult yourself, young lady.” you mother pointed a stern finger at you. “Like when you locked yourself in the room to read that silly cartoon of yours.”

“It’s not silly.” you defended yourself.

“Oh come on!” Nari’s voice voice could be heard alongside some loud footsteps. “I think it’s cute to be honest. Y/N here actually has a hobby besides stalking celebrities online.”

“Shut up, Nari.” you grumbled. “And keep your dog out of my room! He ruined my signed copy of BTS Universe!”

“Dorie got out again?” she seethed, looking annoyed. “I really have to put a bell on that dog.”

“Yeah.” you sighed, you bummed mood returning. Everyone knew just how much you loved that edition. You kept in in a super special display case, you cleaned the case every week, you kept your other issues on their own bookshelf along with your figurine and digital visual novel editions of the series. You were even on the buyer’s list for the special early anime release. You LOVED this series. Not even Nari dared to disrespect something as important as that, and she loved getting under your skin.

“I’m sure you’ll be able to find another one.” your mother set down a bowl of cereal in front of you along with a muffin. “Now eat, you have a big day today.”

“Yes mam.” you replied, helping yourself to some cereal.

“If you want, you can take a muffin or bagel with you.” your step dad said. 

“Dad! I can’t, I have to be super focused remember? Breakfast will just slow me down!” Nari scoffed.

“Not having breakfast will make it even worse, dummy. Dude, you’re gonna pass out on stage.” you threw a tiny cereal piece at her. “Eat something.”

“I’ll eat later, I just have my eye on the prize and nothing is going to stop me.” Nari stood up determined. 

“Will you at least eat some toast, crazy girl.” your mother said. “Y/N’s right, you need to at least have eaten something to calm your nerves. Y/N make sure Nari eats something before you two go your separate ways.”

“I’ll try, no promise.” you shrugged. “Nari, if you’re done, then get your stuff and let’s go.” You promptly finished your cereal and went to go back upstairs. “You got ten minutes.” 

“What’s her deal?” you could hear Nari ask, followed by an sudden whispering of your mom stating exactly what she thought was wrong with you. Your bet was on ‘everything’.

You walked back into your room, grabbing your purse from your desk. You eyed your taped up issue of BTS Universe #1. There was no way you were going to find another issue like that, and that damned dog just treated it like a loved toy. You grabbed your phone and shoved it into your purse. You went over to where the issue was and placed it on your desk. 

“NARI LET’S GO!” you shut the bedroom door behind you as you walked out the room.

You sped to a stop outside the building. Nari was shaking in her shoes. She seemed hesitant to even open the door. 

“Call me when you’re finished so I can pick you up.” you said, getting ready to unlock the doors.

“You’re leaving me!?” Nari looked like she was about to explode.

“Hello?! It’s idol trainees only?” you raised an eyebrow. “I can’t go in there with you. Nari what’s the problem?”

“...Um...I’m nervous alright! I’m giving up almost everything and if I don’t get chosen...I’ll just prove my dad right. I need this.” she stared down at her hands. “I’m not used to being a reject. I don’t know how you-”

“You wanna leave here with two working legs, I suggest you don’t finished that sentence.” you cut her off. “I’m not a reject.”

“That’s not what I was gonna say. I’m saying I don’t know how you deal with nerves like this.” she looked like she was gonna pass out. 

“...You just do.” you nudged her shoulder. “You just go for it and hope. Go for it.”

“...Okay, I’ll try.” she opened the door. “...Thank you.” she stood up. “I’ll call you when I’m all set.” she shut the door. 

“I’ll literally be at the store around the corner.” you replied before driving off. You watched in the rear view as she took her sweet time going into the building. 

...(Later on)

You trudged behind Nari as she ran through the door. She seemed happy, so that must have meant the audition went well.

“I’m gonna take a nap.” you called to your mom and step-dad. “See you guys at dinner!”

You didn’t wait for them to reply before you closed the door. As you walked over to your bed, you noticed a disc laying on your bed. Just a random DVD. The closer you got, the font on the front got clearer.

“BTS World?” It didn’t look familiar in the slightest. “It’s called BTS Universe, Nice try Nari.” you wrote it off as a stupid prank by your oh-so-loving Step-Sister. It was only then you realized Nari was with you all day. 

You took another look at it, gently taking it in your hands. It looked like it was glowing. 

Call it curiosity, but you needed to know.

Your laptop was sitting at the edge of the bed, so you put the disc in. 

“State your name.” a voice came out of nowhere. 

“What?” you looked around in shock. The voice sounded like it came from right behind you.

“Please state your name.” the female robotic voice repeated. 

“Y/N.” 

“Are you sure that you want Y/N as your name?”

“Um Yes?” you raised an eyebrow. You still didn’t know what the fuck was going on.

“Would you like to start a new game? You don’t appear to have any saved filed under the name Y/N.”

Maybe you were sleepier than you thought, but you ran with it. “Yes.”

“Starting new game....now”

Your screen began glowing a bright blue, a vivid, saturated blue. It was like your screen had turned into a flashlight. 

“What the fu-” you suddenly stared at your hands, the very tips of your fingers turned pixelated. “MOM!!!” You tried to scream, only to have it come out in the form on an echo. You felt your feet leave the ground as tiny little pixels moved towards your computer. You could see the color draining from your walls, leaving everything white. It was like an earthquake ran through your room...only through your room.

Then...everything went dark.

Valentine’s Gift | A Han Jisung Scenario

I wrote this in like one day, so I hope it’s not littered with mistakes and awk wording. If it is then oh well... I tried lol. 

“No horror.” You frowned as Jisung panned through the shelf packed full of movies. 

Despite the fact that it’s Valentine’s Day, Jisung was picking out every single horror movie you owned. You had everything from Disney movies to The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and somehow he felt the need to toss Orphan, In the Tall Grass, and Hounds of Love onto the blankets. Since it was Valentine’s Day, you were kind of hoping to watch something romantic. 

You chuckled as your boyfriend visibly sulked and neatly put the movies back on the shelf.  “You’re no fun.” He muttered. 

“I’m lots of fun.” You grabbed one of the decorative throw pillows on the couch and chucked it at his head, giggling when Jisung turned around and pouted. 

“You’re so mean to me.” Jisung gasped when he saw a brand new movie he hadn’t seen before. “What’s Children of the Corn?”

Your eyes widened. “You haven’t seen Children of the Corn?” You laughed when Jisung shot you a look. “I thought you’ve seen all the classics.” You teased. 

“Well, I haven’t seen this one. Is it a horror movie?” He frowned when you nodded and went to place it on the shelf. 

“No, let’s watch it.” You giggled when you saw the pleased look on his face. 

“We don’t have to if you want to watch something else. You didn’t want to watch horror earlier, so —” 

“Well, I want to watch it now.” You chuckled. 

Jisung put the movie in the DVD player and sat beside you on the couch, arm slinging over your shoulder while he pressed play. “Is it super scary?”

You chuckled. Jisung was a HUGE fan of horror movies, but he couldn’t stop the gasping, jumping, and the occasional scream when the jumpscares popped out. You always enjoyed teasing him for his adorable reactions. 

“You’ll have to find out.” You replied. 

Jisung reacted the way you expected. As soon as the children popped into view, he pointed and said they looked creepy as shit. You couldn’t help but giggle as he jumped, crying out in fear when there was a jumpscare in the cornfield. When the movie ended, he was talking big, saying the movie wasn’t that scary — despite the fact that he nearly jumped into your arms for protection when the children brought out the weapons. 

Sure, that movie was pretty creepy, but you wouldn’t necessarily call it scary. Children of the Corn was pretty mild compared to some of the other Stephen King stories out there. You were dying to show him the brand new Pet Sematary.  

“So, what do you have planned for the rest of the evening babe?” You leaned to the side, curling into Jisung as he slung his arm around your shoulders. 

“Well, I was kind of hoping we could…” He trailed off. “Y’know…” 

“No, I don’t?” You cocked your eyebrow. 

“I forgot to set everything up. Give me like, five minutes.” Jisung hopped off the couch and ran into your bedroom. 

Okay, now this was strange. First of all, you knew you were in for a night in the bedroom — but you weren’t entirely sure why he was being so weird about it. The two of you have fucked in a bathroom for christ’s sake! You didn’t need him to fix the bedroom up for you. 

You headed over to the bedroom, catching Jisung lighting candles. “Hey! I said five minutes!” 

Wow, this was impressive. In the three minutes he was gone, the boy managed to make the bed, light some candles, and scatter an obnoxious amount of fake rose petals onto the blankets. As much as you enjoyed the thought, you couldn’t help but wonder why he was doing all this. “You really didn’t have to do this.” You smiled at him.

“Yeah, but.” Jisung paused. “It’s been five years sweetheart. Five. This year we agreed no gifts. I had to do something special for you.”

You felt horrible, but considering the fact that your boss decided to fire you for no good reason meant you weren’t going to be able to afford those brand new headphones you wanted to get Jisung for Valentine’s day. Sure, you could have gotten him something smaller and less expensive, but Jisung always spoils you with a new piece of jewelry every year, and you’d feel like a jerk handing him some cheap gift. 

Before you could overthink further, you simply pulled your shirt over your head, showing off the lacey bralette you wore underneath the thin cotton. You threw it on the floor, thanking the sex gods that Jisung’s cock was forming a tent in his sweats, otherwise, you probably would have heard something along the lines of, ‘Really? The laundry basket is right there!’ 

The two of you instantly connected, lips pressing against each other as you two stumbled over to the bed. You could feel the rose petals against your back as Jisung pushed you onto the blankets below. You sat up for a moment, allowing Jisung to slide the bralette off your body, giving him a perfect view of your perky breasts. Jisung pressed gentle kisses down your throat as his hands squeezed your breasts, thumbs rubbing your nipples as he stopped to suck a dark hickey on your neck. You were probably going to hate him for that later, but right now… you could care less.

If only you were given the time to stop and stare… Jisung yanked your sweats off along with your underwear, leaving you bare before him. Your eyes watched his every move as he undressed himself the rest of the way before pressing a chaste kiss to your ankle bone.

“I love you.” Jisung’s voice was soft, like velvet. “You mean so much to me.” 

Jisung’s soft lips trailed kisses up your calf. His tongue darted out every now and again, leaving a trail of saliva as he ran the soft muscle up your thigh. Jisung’s hands spread your legs, tongue immediately diving into your folds, making your back arch in pleasure. Soft moans escaped your lips as he flicked your clit with his tongue, sending waves of pleasure through your body.

You whimpered as he backed away from your core, licking your juices off his lips before settling between your thighs. Jisung aligned himself up with your entrance and gently pushed into you. He threw his head back and moaned as you clenched around him. 

Jisung’s lips pressed against yours, drinking every feeble cry and moan that slipped past your lips. You all but nuzzled into his neck, arms pulling him closer to you. A gasp escaped your lips when Jisung bumped noses with you, a small giggle sending a bright red blush on his cheeks. “Sorry.” 

“No don’t worry.” You smiled. 

Waves of pleasure coursed through you with every thrust. Jisung’s cock dipped into you perfectly, making your toes curl as you felt every inch of him rub your insides. Your hands roamed along his back, fingernails digging softly into his flesh, leaving soft crescents in its wake. Jisung’s blonde locks swayed in front of him as his eyes clenched shut. “Which I took to be an agreement.” You huffed and gave him a look. 

“Please open it. I have been waiting so long to give it to you.” 

As much as you wanted to tell him to return it, you couldn’t deny the sweet puppy-dog eyes he was giving you. “Fine.” 

You opened the small bag to see a velvet box. You glared at Jisung. “Baby I told you.” 

“I know I know.” Jisung chuckled. “Open it.”

jason stop dying

ooooook i just watched ditf. it was PRETTY GOOD.... i only wish there was MOOORE! watching this REALLY brought me back to 2011 times to see it and i think they did a good job with most of the character design and animations insofar as matching it to the original. (maybe i’m totally wrong but i thought it looked good for the most part... also i just really love these character designs in particular). obviously the budget is not what it would be on a feature, so there are a LOT of places where animation gets recycled and many still frames. some parts are basically a slideshow lol. but i only sort of came to that realization awhile after watching, so i think they did a fairly good job of masking this... ymmv

so let’s get into it!!! 

SPOILERS a-head! do not read until you’ve watched it because i’ll spoil everything

now obviously the thing to be aware of if you are not is the fact that this adaptation is not a panel-by-panel adaptation of the original death in the family comic. all references to jason’s mother (save one mention of her dying of illness) are completely removed, they go to bosnia instead of africa, and the circumstances around jason leaving are also heavily altered to fit the new narrative. this adaptation does slot perfectly into the universe established by the under the red hood animated movie from 2011 though, without which one would be pretty confused when watching this. it’s kind of a mystery as to why they didn’t just package this with utrh and release the entire thing as a collectors edition. instead they package it with like 4 or 5 unrelated dc showcase shorts which makes absolutely 0 sense but go off i guess. anyway

i liked that they took the time to adapt the scene from the original ditf where bruce is talking to alfred about jason! (i do not like that alfred didn’t get any lines. bad choice). tbh i can’t understand why they bothered showing us alfred, barbara and dick if they weren’t gonna give them any lines..... like come on........??

HOW INTENSE BRUCE LOOKS WHEN HE FINDS JASON IN SARAJEVO and just. grabs him lol. hes smad :)

ok so one two skip a few and we get to the first branch. instead of calling 1-900 we now get to choose whether jason lives or dies. there are 7 possible endings i think i got em all so let’s see what we got here.

“Hush” Route - Robin cheats death

hgrgdggr. i definitely think this is one of the more interesting endings, if not the most interesting one. this is also the only ending in which both bruce and jason survive the bombing. bruce is still too late, but this time jason barely clings to life and survives. as a hurt/comfort fan i was 100% on this shit from the word go but then jason? runs away from home lmao lmao i thought that was SO funny because 1) hes super messed up, how is he able to just literally run out the house that is SO funny to me and 2) implying that bruce would ever not be keeping an eye on him after that is just, lmao. it’s so zany. i call this the “hush” route because of the bandages but there are no other references to hush so ok. that’s fair. so anyway jason is now angsty for loosely explained reasons but the most fun part is yet to come.

when talia showed up, i really thought / was terrified for a second that they were gonna bring up certain “events” regarding damian’s parentage / who damian’s father is but then she mentioned bruce and i was like OH THANK GOD WE CAN STILL GO TO HEAVEN. i am so so grateful to the writers for NOT going there. cuz it was damn close ok. im not sure what the implication of this route is in terms of talia, jason and damian being a family unit but i want to believe talia sees jason as a son and damian’s brother (which is how she refers to him, damian’s brother) and not... yknow. i mean. jason raising a baby is kind of like a baby raising a baby...

no actually the reality of this scene is really dfuckin interesting like. they actually go with the “birth of the demon” (forget if it was birth of the demon or bride of the demon. one of those.) explanation for damian and that is something i’ve NEVER seen adapted so whoever wrote this can have a cookie and i kNOW this is something a certain someone will appreciate :)

not only that but the implications? are interesting? so talia’s claim is she miscarried so bruce won’t have to “choose” between damian and jason and idk if she’s supposed to be all on the-up-and-up in this universe but. i’m sitting here like GIRL YOU DON’T GOTTA DO THIS HE HAS A PRIVATE JET HAVEN’T YOU HEARD OF SHARED CUSTODY and BETTER YET HE HAS A MANSION JUST GO ON MAURY AND GET THIS SORTED OUT RIGHT NOWwwww

i’m also LAUGHING at the implications of jason thinking theres anywhere on earth that he’s going to go and hide damian’s existence from bruce. because you already know he’s just going to be tearing the planet apart looking for jason so this is actually hilarious. imagine he finds jason in one piece and also a baby. his baby. he’d be like (@ talia) “OMG WHY WOULD YOU THINK I WOULDN’T WANT THEM BOTH u are tearing me apart talia......” BUT THEN HE WOULD BE SO FREAKING HAPPY BECAUSE HE HAS TWO ALIVE SONS AND HE THOUGHT THEY WERE BOTH DEAD / (lost to crime)!!!

please lord imagine all of jason’s angst probably just originating from the fact that he has a brain injury that hasn’t fully healed and the trauma of going through all those surgeries probably gave him a lot of fear / paranoia about bruce and associating him with the joker because his neural pathways are all messed up but after he leaves he starts slowly healing back and regaining some of his lost sanity and thats when he realizes he misses bruce so much... but hes also raising his child... and every day it gets more difficult for him not to just take damian and bring him home and i ;v;

anyway i thought this route, while it had a few inconsistencies in it, was really freaking interesting and it gave me feels and plot bunnies and is probably the one i want to write about the MOST despite the fact that baby damian looks like a character from one of those web flash games in this lol

“True” End - Jason Dies

now if you select that jason dies the route basically defaults to the canon of under the red hood and the fact that utrh does not come packaged with this movie is a rather mystifying choice to me as i don’t think this adaptation would stand on its own very well. like you need quite a bit of background to really get anything out of watching this on its own, which is probably why it’s classified as a “short” and not as its own movie.

instead of showing all of utrh, it seems they took the opportunity to give a ~30 minute recap of utrh with basically entirely reused animation but they allow bruce to sort of. give his dvd commentary over it.

the biggest feeling i have on this is that it’s sad that they had to waste 30 minutes like this that could’ve been used to do something new and much more interesting, but honestly i’m not mad. it seems kind of obvious that this choice was probably made for budget and/or runtime reasons because a short does not get the same budget set aside as a full length feature film does. so they basically took the option of recycling 30 minutes of animation from the movie and dubbing new audio over it.

in evangelion they ran out of budget and that’s why the last two episodes consist of nothing more than still pencil drawings and frames while the characters engage in philosophical debates concerning the nature of reality and human connection. and i really enjoyed that. and for the same reasons, i also really enjoyed this.

i enjoyed seeing the clark kent of this universe. i enjoyed that he was basically out on a date with bruce. i enjoyed that bruce was willing to open up for once and tell clark all of what happened with jason. but what really makes this segment shine bright are bruce greenwood’s line reads. there are SO MANY good line reads in here. and i LOVED how many times he said the word “son”. very wholesome. the way he describes how he felt during the final fight with jason? probs my favorite FUCKING part.

and then him and clark joking together about contingency plans and then they’re going to work together to find jason and i ;_; this is probably the closest thing to a “good” ending but as a continuation of utrh i thought it worked really well. i really want to believe that bruce and clark did find jason in this route and that there was some closure in the end even though we didn’t get to see it.

including clark in this was DEFINITELY the right move as well, considering that he played a rather large role in the original ditf so it’s a welcome nod.

The rest of the branches exist under a separate option where Bruce makes it in time to save Jason from the warehouse... but Bruce dies......... :O

let me tell you bout it... bruce’s fucking DEATH SCENE i don’t know WHAT my man bruce greenwood is on, but the freaking LINE READS in this dialogue had me making INHUMAN NOISES. LIKE NOT ONLY WAS THE DIALOGUE GOOD, NOT ONLY DID HE SAY “I LOVE YOU, SON”, but this man is just an amazing actor. not just voice actor, but actor. he really really really really gave it the most i don’t know how else to say it....... it was very very well done and punched me sideways in the heart and i haven’t recovered and i’m not going to recover. and

ok so once we get past that.... scene.... u have to choose whether you’re going to catch the joker or kill the joker. bruce asks jason to promise not to kill the joker but technically jason doesn’t promise so........

Let’s start by choosing to kill the Joker. Jason attends Bruce’s funeral and various members of the Justice League show up to talk with him and just generally hang out. He has Alfred, Dick and Barbara as his support system, but Jason has some other plans.

This leads to a scene in a cafe where Jason meets with a man who... something something Killing Joke, flashlight, more Barbara being used as a plot device when she deserves better, Jason kills the Joker with a butter knife.

Once you do this you can choose to surrender to the police, or retaliate and escape.

Jailbird Ending

basically if you surrender to the police jason ends up in prison where he can actually attack even more criminals so.... ya

If you retaliate and escape instead you go to the Red Robin route where Jason becomes a vigilante who kills people much like the Red Hood and you get a further choice in a fight with Two Face where you can control how Harvey’s coin lands. 

Tim Ending!

If you choose the coin to land clean face up, the thing rewards you by having Tim show up and I forgot what happened (wasn’t really paying attention lol) because i was so focused on TIM!

Prolly they felt sorry for him what with Jason stealing what is essentially his outfit (ok I know it was Jason’s first, but Tim made it cool) so they let a little baby tim have an appearance :) he’s very smol

I guess in this ending Jason gets reintegrated with the family somehow and Tim becomes “Bat-kid” which is hilarious to me but you know what it’s cute. CUTE.

The one ending where the coin lands scarred side up

i honestly forget what happens if you choose to have the coin land scarred side up but let me just say this is a FUCKED route to take, not only have you had jason survive and bruce die, you’ve now chosen to kill the joker against bruce’s dying wish, you’ve chosen to attack the police, and at the end of that you really are gonna choose harvey’s coin to be scarred face up???? choosing this made me feel like a DICK because here i am supporting jason’s whole fall to madness and villainy thing the way it wants me to and now he’s gonna die HERE? i hate it here.

interestingly enough he doesn’t actually die in this route. he ends up at home with barbara and dick while dealing with the fact that he killed the joker but the route ends with jason saying “i promise” so i guess this is supposed to be kinda sad. im so confused lol ok

So that is all the options if you choose to kill the joker, I believe. You can also make the choice to just catch him instead of killing him but amazingly enough, those routes are even more FUCKED up. 

If you do this option Jason goes home, mourns Bruce with Dick, Barbara and Alfred, and becomes Red Hood BUT with a twist, he’s entirely on a bloodless operation in line with Bruce’s wishes. OR.... IS HE?

Things then follow the events of UTRH until the scene on the bridge with the van and the guys. Jason finally confronts Joker, who reveals the truth. 

Apparently in this route Jason has actually been killing and decapitating his victims just like in the original movie, but he’s repressed it so as to not even realize to himself that he’s doing it.

that is FUCKED. also. i wanna cry because jason doing all of that stuff but not even realizing it ;------; jason blocking it out, because he wanted to honor bruce’s wishes for him not to kill anyone ;______; but he’s doing it anyway ;_____; he’s actually hearing voices telling him to kill ;____; like it’s a very cheap twist in a sense and also really quite cruel but.... damn, son.

There is a branch here where you can choose to spare or kill the Joker at this point (UNDERTALE???) but from what I can tell it seems to be totally meaningless what choice you pick because you end up at the exact same point either way, I think there’s a small variation in what happens after you make the choice but after that they just coalesce back together into the following two endings. Which seems incredibly cheap to me, I mean making a choice like that should alter Jason’s path completely but, it doesn’t! So... ooook....

Either way Jason ends up on the Wayne building and Talia shows up with a re-animated Bruce from the pit. Here’s another fun blast from the 2011 past with more gratuitous Grant Morrison dreck, remember that shit? Well, they’re gonna jam it down your throat here, too.

The reanimated Bruce is the Zur En Arrh Bruce and he’s already dead so this is all meaningless but basically Jason fights him and you get to choose whether everybody lives or dies.

Zur En Arrh - Everyone Lives!

if you pick this, jason actually gets the re-animated bruce back to the batcave and they lock him up down there because he’s still pit-mad and the prognosis is not great. but i’m not sure what they expected, he is the zur-en-arrh guy so I don’t think he’s getting better. 

Zur En Arrh - Everyone Dies!

pretty much there’s an explosion and all three of them die and that’s it

I think that should be all the possible endings there are.

By the way the different ways in which black mask dies in this was actually a fairly clever running gag lollll. let that mf burn we don’t need no water.

overall there are a couple of things i would have done to SIGNIFICANTLY improve this adaptation beyond some of the obvious ones.

- the fact that all of the branching options are branched exclusively under the “jason lives and bruce dies” branch is a huge wasted opportunity. imo this is the most egregious problem with this, i was really looking for a more balanced tree / explanation of different things. i am probably super biased though being a fic writer and used to fic, we’re the ones making huge ass trees every day lol.

- the fact that there is no “good” ending here is something i kind of expected but given the context of this is lackluster. i sort of get it though because granted, the original ditf ends in an unresolved manner but it’s distinctly unsatisfying here. i secretly wanted an ending where bruce, like, figures out about the different endings and hacks reality to try to find a good ending where jason lives and everything is fine lmao. like a bat mite ending.

- i was disappointed in a sense that the narrative given in here is so basically simplistic? maybe i’ve been spoiled by games like 999 and undertale where shit gets messy and that’s not what this is supposed to be but when i play something with multiple endings in this day and age, at least play with the concept a little bit and connect some of the branches together narratively. use different devices. i was also hoping some of the choices would be a little bit meatier like you could choose to “forgive bruce” or something cool like that lol. but it looks like the majority of choices have to do with who lives or dies. and i felt like they couldve been a bit more creative with that ya know? being able to control harvey’s coin was a GREAT example of having some more fun with this.

- it is a huge missed opportunity not to have a “secret ending” on something like this. like where. the fuck. is my secret ending for completing everything. come on. and in a similar vein there should’ve been at least something in terms of bruce and jason interacting in a “true ending”. even if very brief. the closest thing to an ending this has is the “jason died” route and then the ending where he’s talking to clark which i feel like was a REALLY nice good optimistic ending as far as this goes, but it comes off as kind of disappointing i guess

there were SO many interesting nuggets locked into this thing though. i can’t deny it bugs me how many wasted opportunities there were with how they chose to structure things but i guess it’s the best you can do with limited runtime. i thought it was really well done though, makes an interesting companion piece to the original utrh, and is definitely something that i will be re-watching again soon!! overall i give it a 7/10 and some parts an 8/10+!

Yeah we've been friends for years we met when we were 14 and are still friends now at 27 so it's been one of my longest friendships I have a friend that I met at 4 but we're not as close as we once were still really good friends but not best friends haha!! aww that's so cool that you guys have been friends for that long!! Yeah it is pretty scary but I just take everything one day at a time- I actually caught Covid last year because of how much time I was in the hospital having treatments for my condition I caught Covid and ended up in the hospital for a week while they had to give me loads of medication and blood transfusions and had to put me on a fluid drip because I was really dehydrated and that was really scary but luckily I was okay and now I am fully vaccinated so hopefully I won't catch it again. I think you will definitely learn from your mistakes I feel like some mistakes have to be made in life so you can grow from them Oh they were definitely savage but I love Bly Manor so much and I will watch it so many more times I can't wait for it to come out on DVD!! Like it was heart breaking but so beautiful and we got such an incredible wlw relationship from it and some great representation and I love that!! Haven DVD commentaries: 5.03 - Spotlight

Commentary with Lucas Bryant and Emily Rose.

So, I love these two but the levels of ridiculousness that tend to enter their conversations are hard for me to capture in text, so this doesn’t necessarily cover everything. And I make no guarantees as to how much of the time Lucas is being serious, because let’s face it; it is sometimes hard to tell.

[Nathan’s Previously On Haven] LB: You hear that voice? ER: That was good, did you practice that? LB: Nope. ER: Because I did. I thought, Oh you’ve got a TV show, now you’ve got to practice your ‘previously on’ LB: Yeah you’ve got ...Oooh nice one! You just stuck a pencil in someone’s eye. I haven’t seen that. ER: So this is Dwight, played by the wonderful … LB: Holy Moly his clothes are coming off. Oh my goodness. Do you know how many times Dwight has his clothes off when he’s on the phone with Nathan? ER: Oh it was requested wasn’t it? LB: Yeah, I think they were just trying to get Dwight’s top off.

[As Duke is bringing Nathan supplies and Mara is trying to eavesdrop in the background] LB: You’re so good. ER: I actually really had fun doing this scene because I just got to be a brat in the background. Which I know you would say is an everyday occurrence, but they actually allowed it to stay on film. LB: Right. I remember looking over occasionally at you and just shaking my head. ER: Yeah. I was really happy. I just wanted to make faces behind you all, and when Balfour would walk by I’d kick him or something. I just never knew what you were saying though, I just had to wait until I saw movement so I knew you were talking. I don’t think they showed me kicking him here though, I just got to stare back at you.

ER: Oh, there’s the old footage of the boat, because it had sunk. LB: Right, that’s recycled footage of the Cape Rouge. Now Duke here is lost. [as Duke grabs the scissors] This was a big To Do. ER: Yeah I think you even suggested a scene like this, right? LB: Well we were talking for a long time about the possibilities of how we could move from Duke’s long hair to short hair, and that was it. It was good, they used scissors.

[As Nathan brings a coffee to Mara chained to the picnic bench] LB: Remember this dumb day? ER: This was freaking cold. LB: uh huh. And for some reason I was completely … [Mara spits out her coffee] That was really good. I just like watching you. But I just remember this day for some reason we laughed our … parts off. A lot. ER: Yeah. It was pretty early on, I mean not super early but it was sort of early on in the whole Mara take, so I was starting to really enjoy being a total jerk. LB: Right, you were just really sinking your teeth into it. ER: I was. It’s fun actually to be able to do different things. I think you probably experienced that in the switcheroo episode LB: Yes. That was a real blast. But I was trying to perform a part that had been previously established by Balfour. You get to … Ah that’s my man Mitchell; that’s Paul, he’s hilarious and awesome. [As Mitchell grabs Mara] ER: I remember we worked on this too. This was when stunt rehearsals moved to the day before and we worked out this turn. [As Mara gets the chain around Mitchell’s neck] You know, all the boys on this show really love the fact that I get to visually kick ass. LB: I think this is the first Mara strangle. Is it? No, it’s not; you strangled me already. ER: Yeah. LB: So there you’re just perfecting. You have how many strangles this season? ER: I have a lot of emasculating in this. LB: Yeah, you do!

LB: So tell me about, what was the inspiration for Mara’s voice? ER: Mara’s voice? That’s a good question. LB: Other than me. Did it come out of a character exploration? Or was there a specific idea? ER: I think it came out of trying to be a bit more commanding than Audrey was going to get to be because she … actually no. Matt and Gab and I had conversations about this before the season started and we talked about Blacklist and James Spader. And I watched him a bit. And I think it just came out of sheer enjoyment and pleasure. Oh, this is the laser belly. LB: Laser boobs. Oh sorry, laser belly. But this is an example of one of those things that was totally ridonculous in the script and then pretty ridonculous in the shooting of it too, right? Because the lasers don’t exist when you’re shooting it. And thankfully, Lucia went totally for it and I think ... ER: She did a great job. LB: She did a fantastic job and it actually came together being pretty cool! I don’t want to say that I don’t believe that everything’s going to turn out being totally cool, but sometimes I have a little … yeah I’m not fully convinced. ER: Well because then you make the mistake sometimes when you think something’s going to turn out awesome and then it doesn’t. LB: Right. Like they tell you that there’s going to be these lasers shooting out of your eyes but by the time you do it they’re not lasers, it’s small little -

[As Nathan is handcuffing Mitchell and getting ready to leave with Mara] ER: This leads up to a massive chunk of blooper reel time because we started laughing hysterically. LB: Right. ER: Was it you that was losing it on this one? LB: It was because I was an idiot. You kept walking away … you were doing good acting [where Mara makes to go over to Mitchell but Nathan yanks her back with the chain], but I kept forgetting to pull you back with the chain so you just sort of walked, and I just stood there. And you can see how super serious we are here because we’re finally trying. ER: Well and half the time when I look away it’s because I’m trying to help us both not crack up. You’re about to lose it right there! LB: We’re trying to super, super keep it together. Because I think we were in trouble by that point. It was getting to the point where it wasn’t good. ER: Yeah like season one and two everyone laughs along with you. Season 5, everyone is losing their crap if you lose it on set. LB: Right. ER: Like ‘time is money!!’ LB: Yeah, and this is TW Peacock who is one of our very favourite people and directors who works on Haven. ER: Yes. He’s fantastic. LB: So I think he lets us play a little bit, and then sometimes he has to growl at us to pull it back together a little bit.

LB: This is actually looking really great. I like this. ER: Oh the cabin. LB: Yeah. Daddy’s cabin. ER: This was probably one of our favourite sets I think, of the season. LB: Totally. ER: Jennifer Stewart and her team did an incredible job. LB: Incredible! This is not a cabin that exists. This is a cabin that was built in the studio. ER: We’re in a hockey rink at this point. With beautiful lighting by Eric Cayla. He’s fantastic. LB: But this was really, I was very excited because a lot of this scene, or I mean a lot of this episode and the next episode … [pause while they both laugh at Mara insulting Nathan] ER: Yeah these were really fun because the thing that’s great about TW is that he comes from a massive theatre background and family. So he’s a great actor’s director. To be able to work with him on these amazing long theatre scenes - because we were working on two episodes at the same time, so we’re doing everything that’s in the cabin in the same day. So you get a good progression of what’s happening. LB: Right.

[Another pause as they apparently laugh at Mara’s antics on screen] ER: We just took a photo, if you were wondering what was happening. LB: Yeah. That was the sound of a selfie. What’s a double selfie. ER: What? Another selfie? LB: No, I mean like there are two people in it. Is it still just a selfie? ER: Oh, that’s true. Selvsies???

ER: Oh this was an interesting moment. Why did you make that psychological gesture there? Do you know why you made that, with your hand on your face? [Mara is getting bored and Nathan is watching her] Because then I mirrored you in that moment. LB: Oh, I probably did it because … I was watching you earlier … and you …. No, I don’t know. ER: No, I copied you. It was very specific, I remember it was a very specific choice. LB: ... ER: Now, this was tricky, having to do cats cradle at the same as my lines. LB: You’re so great. ER: Oh stop it Lucas. LB: You are! It was so fun and so easy to work with you because it was just a pleasure to watch. And it was, I remember thinking, because we spent the whole day I think doing these scenes and it was like - Ah that was so fun. Because rarely do you get to actually do something that lasts longer than 15 seconds ER: It was really cool. [As Mara talks about the Russian name for cats cradle] That was actually inspired by my dear friend Stretch, in between takes. I can’t take credit for that one. LB: It’s a group effort. ER: It is! It’s a collaboration. It was really cool to get to see you play so strong Lucas. LB: As opposed to when I normally …  what in god’s name is this? [on screen we’ve flash back to Nathan and Audrey in the cabin and Nathan pulling her shirt off] ER: Oh dear god. LB: Oh I didn’t know this was happening. ER: This is the awkward part. LB: Right. ER: We could talk about the awkwardness of doing these together, these kinds of scenes. LB: It’s just really like … a part of the world … that um ER: Yes. LB: … needs no further explanation ER: No further talking.

[As the action moves to Gloria and her stressball] ER: What … Oh my gosh I love Jayne. We are so lucky to have people like Jayne Eastwood on our show. She’s incredible. I mean I always knew she was great but because I didn’t grow up Canadian I didn’t fully understand how fantastic she is. LB: Right. ER: It’s just so great to be able to watch her. And I’m so glad that we never killed her off and she didn’t disappear because she is a great asset to the show. LB: Totally.

[As Duke is talking to Charlotte in the station] ER: Is it just me or did you feel like our office got kind of sparsed down this season? LB: Yeah. I think they sold off some of the props that used to be there, and the set dressing. Now how crazy is this; Chenise - I never even met her. Did you? ER: No. LB: Because we were in the cabin, and they were doing this on some other day. ER: Right, so I guess that’s something we can talk about production wise, because we were in the cabin, I think we did those scenes for three days straight or something like that. It was long. But then you’d have these days where you’d have breaks, so blocks. So Balfour’s doing his story line and we’re doing our storyline. And it’s helpful because this season we did something we’ve never done before, which was doing two episodes at a time. Which was complicated. Because we did 13 episodes all the prior seasons, and this year we were asked to do 26 episodes which is no freaking joke. I think it may have killed me at the end. LB: I think … yeah. You are slightly dead.

[As Duke walks in to Dwights office] LB: See? Where’s all our stuff? ER: Well this is Dwight’s office, right? LB: Well. ER: Dwight took your office. How do you feel about Dwight taking your office? You kind of went off the reservation and they just sort of replaced you. LB: Yeah. He fits better in that chair, that’s really what it was. ER: It doesn’t look as large behind him. LB: What? No. I actually, am too big for that chair.

[As we’re back with Mara and Nathan in the cabin] ER: I would like to add a shout out to Joanne Stamp and Dorothy who did my hair and makeup here. And because we didn’t want to go back and forth with dying hair for blonde and brunette, we actually did a wig. LB: You’re wearing a wig? Right now in this TV show? That’s a wig? ER: Yeah. Yes. Don’t you remember? LB: Not really. ER: You don’t remember that?! That was definitely a technicality of making out on the floor, was; Don’t touch the wig! LB: Oh yes that’s right. Don’t touch the hair. ER: But our best wig tip actually came from you Lucas. LB: Why? ER: Because you had just completed a film. LB: Oh that’s right. See, I don’t even remember my own life. ER: No you don’t. LB: It’s a good thing we have these conversations. ER: So you suggested, which was good, and Joanne figured out with her masterful skills, that if you shift the wig back a bit and use my own hair the blend is fantastic. And it was so good. So I wore a wig for Mara and it was really cool.

[As Nathan’s unchaining Mara to take her over to the bed] ER: Wait, this scene did we do a rehearsal of it, or was this one where we just did it and TW was super happy with it? LB: Um, we just kinda went for it. Because I remember initially reading it, being like; What the f- … I’m … Because, if you haven’t seen the episode already, here’s a spoiler; Nathan and Mara kiss in a minute. And I was like; How, in God’s name, can that happen. Like, this is ... I was … I couldn’t ... ER: But we talked a lot about that idea of having someone in front of you that you recognise fully and you should be close with, but that person not really being … LB: That person not really being the person! And they’re kind of like, Well it’s hard because she’s the person but she’s not the person. ER: Exactly. LB: But I’m like; He’s not an idiot! He can’t just like go … But then we decided eventually I think that in some … ER: Sick way? LB: … weird way, he’s hoping that this will bring her [Audrey] out. ER: And that’s what you settled on. LB: Yeah. And Matt and Gab were like, you just gotta trust us on this, the fans are going to love this. And I was like, I am going to reluctantly trust you, because I don’t know what .... But… I think they did. I think they were right. I was wrong. ER: I think it’s interesting from Mara’s point of view, because in a way it felt like Mara was doing this to you. You know? Playing and toying, and I think that’s kind of her sort of power, in a way is she’s been around for a long time and so I feel like she’s just way more visceral and just sort of going at everything. Which I’m not going to lie to you, I just completely struggle with as an actor, because when a character that I’m playing has a completely different point of view to me as a person, it’s really hard for me to wrap my head around how to access it. But you have to sort of blackout as a person and just go with it. LB: Right. But you find me disgusting and utterly vomit worthy in real life, so. ER: No but what you were talking about, I agree with you. Because I’ve played Audrey for so long, I don’t understand why Nathan would do that either. LB: Right. ER: So it’s hard for me to say; Sure, let’s go ahead with the scene. LB: Totally. But I think it did make sense. ER: And I absolutely loved actually, that we had to create the illusion that Mara was able to get those tar balls without you seeing. And it kind of forced you into this psychological place of looking down [where Nathan has his head in his hands] and I thought that was really great. LB: Right.

[As we see Duke and Dwight in the furniture warehouse] LB: And then there’s this stuff. I’ve never even … ER: Did you even watch these episodes? LB: No. I haven’t seen this. ER: You haven’t?! LB: No. ER: You haven’t seen these episodes?! LB: I’ve seen our stuff. I haven’t this bit. *whispers* I don’t watch their stuff. ER: Wow. I watched them in Nova Scotia while we were filming. LB: It’s good. It’s really good.

ER: I remember Lucas, since we’re sitting here patting each other’s backs, I remember being really nervous about how Mara was turning out. So, I think the first couple seasons you guys were into watching the dailies a little bit. I still was into watching dailies by the end here in season 5. But you all weren’t as worried about it. But I remember watching dailies from these scenes [Nathan and Mara in the cabin] and trying to gage where I was at with her, and thinking; Wow, why is Lucas so freaking good! LB: Oh come on. ER: No I’m serious.

ER: Now the funny thing to me about this, is I’m supposed to take my bra off in this scene, but what you don’t see is Eddie and Stretch and two camera guys behind me (so they can get your close ups). So to be able to do all of this bra stuff, practically topless but not, and having to deal with … This is the thing; you’re doing your acting scene, and Mara’s being confident and sexy, and Emily’s inside going; How do I get this bra off with all my crew guy friends behind me? How do I do this? LB: Right. You did it. ER: I did it. But I probably had a strapless bra on underneath. LB: You probably had a t-shirt on underneath. ER: *laughs* It was really fun though. You’re so good Lucas, there’s another great little gesture. You don’t get to see Nathan be this … because he’s such the action man all the time, it’s really cool to see you actually think and freak out about stuff, and for them to give you the time to do it. LB: Yeah, thanks. It was, I remember feeling really good. It felt like being an actor, you know? I mean we do this wild stuff all the time and it’s an honour and we’re blessed to be able to do it, but it is rare that you do … Maybe it shouldn’t be so rare, maybe it’s my own fault, but. It’s not all the time that you finish a day and you feel like; That is why I got into this in the first place, I loved that, that was so fun. ER: Totally. And I remember Matt and Gab talking about how they were so excited to actually write some scenes that got to just live in one place for a while. Because, our show is very action packed and there’s stuff happening all the time and we have to be rescuing people. LB: Always leaving somewhere and arriving somewhere. *laughs* I just don’t want to leave and arrive, can we just do an episode where we just, stay.

[As we see Audrey come out while Mara’s asleep] LB: This is so good and so weird. Look at you. ER: I remember being freaked out about this because I was like; I don’t know how to be Audrey any more.

LB: And I’ve got to fire up my dad’s old computer here. ER: Oh yeah, you were like; So wait, in order to get ahold of people I have to go to my dad’s old computer and not my cell phone? And then they get it on their cell phones?? LB: It’s a good thing that we kept up the bill for the internet there at the cabin, the old dial up. ER: Why couldn’t we insert the modem going… *dial up modem impressions from both of them* LB: Yeah. What’s my password? ER: Bronco78 LB: Yeah! Good one. That probaby would be it. ER: BlueBronco78 LB: Nathan123 ER: 1983Wuornos LB: Ahh and then it might have been one of those ones where I needed to use a capital N. 1983Wuronos.

[As we’re back with Duke and Dwight and Jody in the furniture warehouse] ER: Oh the lights are flickering. Wait wasn’t she related to the other lights flickering girl, or was that different? With the electricity? LB: Um, no. Not related. ER: We used that one later on. That was one of the fun things about this season was bringing back old characters and their family. LB: Yeah. And recycling Troubles. ER: Every sci-fi show’s got to have some light sabres coming from somewhere. LB: Yeah. It’s good. They really made it work. ER: And obviously, major kudos to all three actors here; Balfour, Copeland, and Lucia. Because it’s really not easy to be acting all these things that you don’t see on the day. LB: Totally. ER: Balfour’s always been really really great about just … you believe him. So much so. LB: Yeah, he’s really excellent about throwing himself into those absurd situations and making it work. ER: Yeah. And our dear friend Mr. Copeland. Talk about rising to the occasion. LB: Kicking ass.

[As we see Mara waking up] ER: Oh this was fun. LB: That’s my thing. ER: Pancakes. LB: Yep. ER: I just liked that little baby scene because Nathan had some hope and he was getting to play his happy self, which you don’t see him getting to do so often. And Mara was showing she’s not a morning person which was really funny. LB: Right. Because you could really relate to that. ER: I could so relate to that. You know, there’s two things in my life I didn’t want out of a job; homework and getting up early. And my job requires both of them. LB: Right. Accounting though, you’re avoiding that. That was the other thing right? ER: Thank god I don’t have to do that.

[As Nathan is trying to get Mara to eat pancakes and she is being a jerk about it] ER: I had so many of my friends say; It was so fun to watch you do that. I will say too, I really like Dorothy’s make up on this. Because I think after I was done playing Mara, we were both just sad that we didn’t get to use eyeliner all the time. LB: When did you first feel like you found her. ER: That’s tricky, um, I would say probably, the Mara images that I have in my head that are really strong memory-wise would have been the first episode when you and I are having that face off in the woods with the bronco behind and Vickie’s in it. And I hear her and I whirl around and I slam her hand in the door; fierceness. I was like; Audrey would never, in a million year. And I think wearing those boots. I remember one scene they tried to give me flatter boots and I asked them to redo the take and put me in the heels again because it didn’t feel like her. Like, she’s so powerful and so tall and so regal and so in charge, that it really bothered me. The coat really helped and the boots really helped, and the vest. LB: So was that the same day, I think it was, where we did, at the end of the day (we’re talking about other episodes now) that scene where you handcuffed me to the fence, that was the same day of shooting right? Because we were right there next to the woods. ER: Right, yes. Where you think it’s Audrey and then find out it’s Mara. LB: Yeah. Because I remember that day and I remember being like; Wow, this is crazy. ER: It was fun. LB: But I remember seeing you play around with what she was going to be, and find all sorts of different things. And there was this great, I think it ended up getting cut out sadly, but this great line about … ER: Oh that’s right! What was that line? LB: It was about … Oh yeah, I realised you weren’t Audrey, I realised you were Mara and you were talking about how Audrey was such an idiot. ER: Oh about how she dances! LB: You said; Do you have any idea what it’s like to be inside Audrey when she dances? ER: Yeah! I loved that line and they took it out. And I had a huge phone call about that asking them to put it back. I think that is a line that sums up Mara in a lot of ways. LB: Right, you did a little vomit in your mouth thing and I remember thinking; Oh this chick is nuts - this is great. ER: Well it was fun getting to be this person because I did get to play around so much but what’s so cool is when we introduce … you know everybody’s so familiar with the fabric of Haven and how it operates. So for example this scene [on screen is Nathan getting Mara to dance with him] is so fun because you know what it would be like if it was Audrey and Nathan. But now with a new set of variables in there it’s fun. It changes your [ie Lucas’s] performance, it changes how you would normally act. It changes so much which is an enjoyable thing. But what’s fun too is that Mara is in control so much that in this moment here with the dancing I remember thinking; I’m not in control in this moment. Like, he’s actually really getting to her. [As Nathan is tickling Mara/Audrey on the floor]: ER: Another piece of Haven trivial - you could play a drinking game with how many times can you spot that rug. And this was a really fun turn because we had hope in between and it really felt like we were getting somewhere and I remember with Balfour coming in and just being able to switch on a dime. LB: Balfour coming in and ruining everything. That’s so Duke. Dude, your timing is just so… ER: Come on bro. LB: He comes in and he’s just all worried about his own shit. [Duke; “What … what … what is this?”] ER: He’s so good. LB: He’s so funny. And so good. ER: We always have to wrestle with these scenes where we’re having these conversations just feet from one another [Where Duke and Nathan are talking about Mara even though she’s right there] LB: But really; poor Duke, has lost a lot recently. ER: I really enjoyed saying that line; “You look like your head is about to pop off”. And this is where Mara’s fascination with Duke begins. And this was fun because Duke is such a strong character, to see him face off with Mara was interesting. LB: Yeah, your guys stuff later on in the season in the boat was fantastic. LB: I’m pretty sure that I said Mara there in ADR. “Why would you do that for him? … Mara?” ER: That’s another good fun drinking game; see if you can spot the ADR lines. LB: Yeah I should do a little survey here. All you people watching here, if I hadn’t said ‘Mara’ there, do you think you would have known who I was talking to? Just a question. There are these people, somewhere, that are more important than me, that tell me that I have to add a name to the beginning and end of every sentence. Because you people otherwise won’t know who I’m talking to.

ER: There are these points in commentaries all the time where things get quiet because the commenters just start watching the show. I’m always listening to commentaries going; Say something! What else? Say something! LB: I just look so handsome from that angle. ER: Do you think you’d consider this a bottle episode? LB: Hmm, well. ER: Or do you want to tell us what a bottle episode is? LB: Usually a bottle episode from production terms is to save money, an episode that takes place in one location with just a couple of characters, very controlled production schedule. [As we flash back to that Moment in Colorado] Look at 14 year old Duke! Aw! And look at you! What! What is this? ER: You haven’t seen this? And then you have all these people outside. If it was just me and you in the thing for the whole thing then yes. But this is not a cheap episode. They had to spend money on the pancakes, maple syrup. They had to get that rug from the other location. ER: They had to get those cards. I was using the deck of cards here and I remember that TW every time he’d come up to direct me was playing with his own deck of cards. [As Mara stands up closer to Duke] Again, these are these scenes where it’s so not Emily at all that I had to just go for it, it was so scary. And I guess these are these moments, I mean granted you have a group of friends you’ve been playing with for the last 5 years so, scene work is like getting thrown overboard when they yell action. And you’re looking for the other person in the scene that you’re swimming with and trying to stay above water the whole time. And I think that I’m so fortunate to have both of you guys as scene partners because it’s not scary if you have another person that’s actually willing to swim with you. LB: And not just like kick your face ER: Or pull you down. LB: Or hold you under. Yeah, it’s true. And back at you.

 Rewatching it, although it’s an older work,

 I’ll know the moment I see the criminal, but I wont remember the trick lol

 For the first ones I have memory of reading it from a manga,

 Seeing the anime before the decisive dialogue started,

I was surprised it hadn’t been decided yet!

 In about 31 episodes,

 Looks like a kid………!

 And, then I heard the decisive dialogue

It was exciting lol

 But you know,

 Now, all of the Detective Conan anime,

 Is 974 episodes!

 Uwaoo! Lol

 Therefore rewatching them,

How do I figure out how many hours that is easily? How many days? Lol

 I think its difficult because its endless but,

 Haibara Ai-chan’s appearance and,

Akai Shuichi’s relations,

 Lets look back on those things—

Q. What reward/prize do you want to give yourself for finishing the tour? Doyoung: I would like to receive the reward of meeting my family and having a meal (with them). I want to talk a lot while eating and receive strength from them. Johnny: Ah, I thought the reward you meant was something like 'funniest-award' (laughs) An answer like Doyoung certainly is better. If I could give myself a reward like that...... I'd like to have a bit more free time. During my free time, I want to eat something delicious or travel. I've poured out everything I have on the tour, and I think I need time to fill it up again. Jaehyun: Me too, we don't have much (free time) so I would like to take a vacation. I want to travel alone. Jungwoo: Me too, we've been working hard on the Japan tour, so I want to give myself the 'holiday'-prize Johnny: How many days? Jungwoo:  Then about three days...... And I want to spend a lot of time seeing my family whom I've not been able to see, have a good time eating something delicious or travel around and enjoy small things. Yuta: Same for me, I'd like the same vacation (reward). I had so many different things to do during this tour, I figured I'd need some time to get my mind back together and I want to meet my friends whom I've not been able to see. The length (of the vacation) would be, ah..... one week! Taeil: I want to give myself a car (laughs). I've been wanting one for a while. There's not a specific car I want, but speaking of it, I think a compact car would be better Taeyong: Then I want a brand bag. Yuta: Is there a bag you've been looking at? (laughs) Taeyong: I'm joking joking (laughs) I have a three-year-old nephew. There are clothes I want to buy for my nephew so I want to buy them in Japan and bring them back! And I want to keep it for my personal use

Q. Then besides yourself, what would you give to one other member? Yuta: I can’t pick! This I can never pick! Taeyong: Mhm! Can’t pick! Because everyone worked equally hard! Doyoung: I’d like to give something to Yuta hyung. Since it was a Japanese tour. I think as Yuta hyung is our Japanese member he really thought about a lot of things and did his best. That’s why I’d like to get him whatever he wants. As long as I can get it with my own money, that is (laughs) Yuta: Whoa, really?! Thank you! I’m so happy!! Taeil: I can’t pick either, I’d like to give something to all members. A cup of coffee for each♡ Haechan: Then for me it’s Taeil hyung. Taeil hyung has really become a huge source of strength for me, he’s always beside me cheering me on, so I’d like to treat him to a meal! Jungwoo: What kind? Haechan: I feel like I’d like whatever Taeil hyung picks, so anything. I’ll just be happy to eat together! Johnny: Then I’d like to gift Doyoung a bed. There’s not a specific reason for this, I just think he’d be very happy to suddenly receive a bed. It’s just a thought though, so I’m not going to actually give it to him (laughs) Doyoung: Hahaha (laughs) I’m happy with the thought of it too (laughs) Jaehyun: Then I’d like to say this to Johnny hyung…… Since during the tour he always kept saying “Can I keep being on stage like this?”, now I want to tell him ‘Yes you can keep being on stage” (laughs) Johnny: Woaaaah! Thank you~ (laughs) Jungwoo: I’d like to give something to Mark. He always helps me out, cheers me on and gives me lots of love. So for Mark whos doing his best every time like he never stops trying, I would like to get new glasses since his eyesight is bad. Mark, always thank you! Mark: Aaaaah! Thank you (laughs) In fact, I would like to give something to Jungwoo too. I was also thinking of Haechan, but he’s a bit cheeky…… Just joking! (laughs) Jungwoo hyung was practicing the most out of us all this time. There was a lot to memorize, some things were being changed, he always went ahead first to practice. When I looked at him I thought it really must’ve been hard. So I’d really like to give him something filled with ‘You worked so hard’. Jungwoo hyung likes food so I’m thinking of taking him out to a meal! Jungwoo: Thank you. But once you eat food it’s gone. What I’d like more is Mark’s constant attention on me….. Mark: You’re really overdoing it (laughs) Haechan: What the hell are these two doing here?!?! Taeyong: I’m always careful when picking presents. But I haven’t really thought of something to celebrate the end of the tour. So first of all right now I’d like to get everyone a pair of socks. Yuta: Why socks?! Taeyong: I want the members’ tired feet to feel comfortable, so I want to get good socks. To rest well~ Yuta: Oh okay. Should I get everyone waistband support then? (laughs)

Q. I’ve asked this several times during the series but… what’s the most memorable place or food in Japan? Johnny: We ate Okonomiyaki in Osaka and Hiroshima, and I was impressed how the respective Okonomiyaki tasted different from each other! Yuta: I also really enjoyed the Takoyaki from my hometown Osaka! And the Eel Deopbab in Nagoya was also delicious~ I ate Hiroshima-style Okonomiyaki in Hiroshima, which were also really good! Ah, since I’m from Osaka I’ll say Hiroshima (laughs) Taeil: The Eel Deopbab I ate in Nagoya was seriously delicious. At the time I used to eat lunch boxes, and I liked to pack up the soup and eat it~ Doyoung: Eel Jjambap is delicious, even if you add wasabi. Haechan: I didn’t have it this tour, but the Eel Deopbab also stayed in my memory! Actually, I originally didn’t eat eel. But a long time ago when we went to Nagoya, I asked myself ‘Wouldn’t Eel Deopbab be ok?’ so I tried it and it was really really good! Since then, if there would ever be Eel Deopbab again, I’d definitely eat it. Doyoung: I also can’t forget the Sushi that I ate in Ishikawa. It was seriously so delicious, I ate until I couldn’t eat any more. Sushi is seriously the best! Johnny: Which Sushi was the best? Doyoung: Sea urchin and tuna. The expensive ones! (laughs) Taeyong: Mine is sweet potato ice cream. I ate it in Osaka. It’s the best~! Yuta: Ahh~! That’s right, that’s right! I seriously recommend that one. That was also my first time finding out about it (laughs) Jaehyun: I remember all foods in the various places that we went to, but what really lingered is walking down the streets of Otaru. At the time, I was walking down the street with the snow piled up, when I walked into an orgel shop and bought an orgel. There was a big clock in front of the orgel store, and when the time came, a loud ‘Booo~!’ played, just the moment we left it had started ringing! It was so awesome, I still remember it even now. Mark: If you say Hokkaido, ramen come to mind. And the ice cream and pancakes I ate at a café in the streets in Otaru! Jungwoo: I also remember walking down the channel in Otaru really well. Although it snowed at the time, it weirdly wasn’t particularly cold . And I ate two kinds of Sapporo ramen, soy bean paste and soy sauce. They were both really delicious. And also, Nagoya Eel Deopbab~ Ishikawa Sushi~ Hiroshima Okonomiyaki~ I ate all the various representative foods, and they were all really delicious! Ahh, and the eel was delicious too!

Q. Tell us what you’d like to challenge in Japan and what are your future plans! Doyoung: More than anything as the tour is finished my heart is filled with “This was really fun”, I really want to do more of Japan tour. And I’d like to become an artist that you want to keep seeing over and over. Taeil: That’s right. And next time I’d like to do even more shows, I want to grow in order to be able to do that. Johnny: I feel like this too. I want to do more concerts and I want to become an artist that people want to see. And personally, I’d like to learn more Japanese. Jungwoo: I want to be able to do stages as cool as our company’s DBSK seniors, just like they are a step ahead in Japan, my dream is for us to progress everyday and grow. My wish is also to meet more fans from different regions in the future. Haechan: This time we had a chance to do shows in halls and arenas, so in the future I want for us to showcase a growing image bit by bit through arena tour and a dome tour! And I’d also like to go to a Japanese convenience store on my own! Mark: My goals for the stage are the same as the other members, I want our dream to come true quickly! This and I also have a personal goal, I want to learn Japanese quickly. I feel like this every time I come here but if I study Japanese harder I can understand our fans better, we can also convey our minds better, the gap between us will shrink and we’ll get along even better. So now I really want to be good at Japanese quickly. Jaehyun: Right. There’s also a lot of things I want to do in Japan besides touring, right now I’m thinking of snowboarding. I want to snowboard in places where there’s a lot of snow in Hokkaido, and then I want to go shopping in Tokyo! Taeyong: I want to buy a house in Japan. I really want to buy it. So everyone, when we become neighbours I’d like you to help me out. Yuta: A house?! What kind? Taeyong: I like small houses, the houses in Tsukushima Alley where we went to shoot for Vivi were super pretty! I want to buy a house like these! Yuta: I want to go to every corner of Japan, regardless if the concert venue is big or small. There’s still a lot of people that don’t know us, so I want to go to various places and let people know even a tiny bit about NCT 127, this is something I think about the most.

Author’s note: hi guys!! this is a first for me, writing with my friend @justdani14 has inspired me to write a piece with drake, ‘do you want to dance?’ and it’s become this really super sweet, fun, silly (thanks to Maxwell's mention 😂) and a little bit of a long story that i built up from that. i wrote it a long time ago, around the time when the chapters still took place in our new duchy. but haven't posted it. i hope you like it. there are a lot of fun surprises in it and i had a lot of fun writing it. i wasn’t going to post it, but caved lol..so here you go ;) hopefully it gives you some smiles :) please be kind <3 i’d love to know your favorite part :)

“You’ll see, Walker,” He says chuckling a little bit.

“I know we’ve been on many adventures together, but this is a new one. We’ve never dragged around the basement of our duchy before.” I chuckle too.

We keep on walking. The hallways down here are really dark and he’s got a flashlight. I keep on expecting to feel something furry run over my foot.

“Did you hear that?” We both look at each other at the same time. It was like a loud scurrying noise.

“I don’t know what that was, but why do I feel like something’s gonna pop up any minute making us spend more diamonds.”

“What-?”

“Oh nothing..”

We continue climbing and walking through the hidden tunnels. They are dimly lit and it honestly smells a little funky in here.

“We’re almost there.”

“Where exactly are we going anyways?” I say, almost loosing my footing.

“I found this the other day, and I just couldn’t wait to show you..” He gently grabs my hand as we continue walking. The ground evening out.

“Drake seriously. I think I just saw a spider over there,” He can’t help but laugh a little and in turn, so do I. “Don’t laugh, Drake” I say pushing him a little “- it was a big one!”

“I’m sure it was, Walker.”

“That’s not funny, Drake.”

“No seriously- I bet it was a big one! I saw one the other day too.”

“Ew-"

“Let’s just say that when it’s crawling on the back of your neck,” He shutters “I learned that a shout really carries down these halls.. echos, I guess you could say.”

I can’t help but chuckle.. “A shout, huh?” I say looking at him. “Yeah,” He says with a laugh. “sound carried the same way Maxwell’s did when he screamed across the hall for us to get him some food from the kitchen while we’re up.”

“Bahaha that’s not where we were headed.”

“We certainly were not.” He says with a smile, kissing the top of my head, holding me close.

“Really though, these hidden halls are even more dusty with spiderwebs than the ones back at Liam’s place.” We continue walking.

“Heh, I know. All part of the ambiance and we are almost there I think. Brings back good memories though.”

We take one more turn around the corner.

“Ok, we’re here.”

He stands in front of me, putting both of his hands on my upper arms, looking into my eyes.

“Now, listen- I know that we are new here, but this is like it was made just for us.”

“What do you mean..?” He steps aside and pushes the back door open.

No. Way.

“It’s -"

“Our very own pool room. Just like the one back when we are traveling for the tour!” He says as we step in, closing the secret door completely. I make my way over to the beautiful pool table, it’s practically shining.

He moves to the front of the room, opening up the real door. Chance and Lady Lucky come prancing in. “Hey guys!”

I bend down giving them each a little pet as they dance around my feet, clearly happy to see us.

I look around again. It’s even more beautiful than I first thought it was going to be with the lights on. ‘Wow. He really worked hard on this.’ I think to myself, beaming with pride.

The door that we came through blends in seamlessly with the wall once it’s closed.

“Drake?”

“Huh?”

“Why didn’t we just take that door to get here?” I say pointing to the obvious door to the right, past the pool table- the one that he just opened for the pups to come through.

“What’s the fun in that? “I told you I am the master of scouting out castles and all of their secrets.” He says with a smirk.

“Besides, it gives us another way to sneak off from all of the fancy dinners that we have coming our way.” He says pulling my side into his and giving me a little peck on the cheek. I will never get tired of his kisses.

“You are so right. That’s one of things I love so much about you, we even make the most boring of times fun.” I wrap my arms around his neck.

“We sure do.” He says giving me another kiss.

I take another look around the room.

“Drake this is so awesome!”

“I know, right!? I thought so too! This room even has a movie projector in the back over here, so we can sneak away and watch movies whenever we want too.”

“It’s like our very own home theater!” I say walking around the room, taking it all in. It really is beautiful in here.

“I request Princess Diaries.” I say propping myself up on the edge of the pool table.

“That’s what I figured, I know it’s your favorite, I have a few of my favorites in here too.” he says pulling out the dvd cases from next to the tv. “I also got us the day off from Royal Duties.”

“You are seriously the best, Drake Walker. How did you manage to pull this off anyways? I’ve been trying to take a day off for weeks now!”

“I just told them that we had some business to take care of and not to be disturbed for the rest of the day. But they do know where we are, for security reasons. But hey, I’ll take it!” He says chuckling. “So who cares if Mara knows where to find us..” he says rubbing the back of his neck, looking sheepishly at the floor.

“Drake!” I say getting a closer look, “This pool table looks so much like ours- well, that hotel’s that you found by the train, I mean. But I kind of think of it as ‘ours.’ You know what I mean.” I say.

“Exactly the one.” He says with a big grin.

“Turns out when you are a Duke in Cordonia you get put to the top of the call-back list. And I’ve got to say- there’s something special about it being the same one.” A huge smile lighting up his face.

“Aw Drake that is so sweet! And I totally agree. We have had some good memories with this pool table. It looks like it’s in great condition!” I say running my hands over the velvet upholstery and gold trim. Adding with a chuckle, “See there are some perks to being a fancy Duke!” nudging him. We both laugh.

“Yeah, and you.” He says. “You are the best perk of all and I’d take that title any day if it meant being with you.”

He rests his forehead on mine. I love him so much.

“I had it refurbished by a carpenter friend of mine, we worked together on it. You really like it?”

“I love it, thank you. And I love you.” I give him another kiss and lean into his embrace. He’s still got his arm around me.

“Is that a mini fridge!” I say hopping off.

“Yeah, but I haven’t stocked it yet..”

“Drake this is amazing.”

“You’re amazing.” He says right away.

“This was just a little something I could do for you after all that you do for me, for us.. I wanted to make it special for you. So once I found this place, I cleaned it up and brought it back to its former glory.”

“Thank you, Drake. This is one of the sweetest things you have ever done.” I say giving him another quick kiss. “You’ve succeeded in making your wife swoon yet again and we haven’t even played any pool yet.” I say with a smirk.

“I’m definitely glad you like it, Walker. And I definitely like hearing you be called my wife. I can see us spending a lot of time in here.”

I look around at our little family that will soon hopefully be growing. Drake has his arm around my waist. Chance and Lady Lucky have made themselves comfortable on the humongous couch. It brings a little tear to my eye. “I love you.”

“I love you too, Walker..so so much.” He says with a kiss.

“Plenty of room to spread out!” I say joining the pups, holding his hand. “This couch is seriously huge! Once our friends find out about this place, we won’t be able to get a moment alone.”

“Believe me, we’ll make the time.” He says, holding my hand.

“I’ve always liked pool, you know that,” he says rubbing the back of his neck “but playing pool with you is definitely-"

“A challenge?” I say cutting him off, leaning back a little bit to look him back up into his face, wiggling my eyebrows.

“Better. I was going to say better.”

“But you are pretty good at pool when you try.” He says laughing.

“Oh you know I’m better than ok!”

“You’re right, you kinda are.”

“Drake Walker I’ll have you know we tied on that faithful night of our pool game.”

“That’s just because you distracted me.” He says teasing with a deep but light chuckle, rubbing his chin and groaning a little.

“What was the word that you used- temptress?”

“Oh god, don’t remind me.”

“Why not, I thought it was cute.”

“Why not? Because that was one the hardest things I’ve ever had to do, to stay away from you.” I wrap my arms around his neck and straddle his lap. “Second hardest was having to sit through Maxwell’s one man show of ‘I’m a breakdancing machine: the 3 1/2 hour story of a Cordonia man’s rise to fame.’”

“No. Way. That sounds awful.” I say with a giggle. “Well you have me now so.. and oh god, please don’t let him know that I know about that. I don’t want to watch that for four hours.” I say climbing next to him and snuggling into his side, laughing a bit.

“See-second hardest thing.” He says laughing. “It started out with ‘When I was a young’n..’”

“No it didn’t!”

“I swear to god it did, longest 2 hours of my life.”

“I thought you said it was 3 1/2 hours?”

“I did, I didn’t say I lasted that long though. I told him I wasn’t feeling great and got the heck out of there!” He says rubbing his face.

“Drake!”

“What! We were like 8 and I couldn’t take another minute of those moves!”

“And get this- He reenacted the whole thing at my 23rd birthday party. Hopped up on the bar top and everything.”

“No way!!” I say sitting up and laughing a bit.

“I kid you not. Thought I’d never see that whole dreadful thing again, but there he was on the bar top doing the sprinkler. You better watch out he’s got that dance routine locked and loaded.”

We both burst out laughing.

“Omg I can just imagine him trying to do it at our baby shower or something!?”

“The things you missed, Walker- the things you missed..”

He tells me little bits and pieces of Maxwell’s one man show, that I can’t even imagine seeing in person. We both laugh pretty hard and by the time we get our breath back we sit in comfortable silence.

He tells me more stories from when he was younger. From when before I met him. I really love hearing those stories from my husband, hearing more about his childhood. We snuggle on the couch for a while swapping stories and holding hands.

My head is on his chest and my hand over his heart, gently rubbing circles on his belly and chest. It’s warm and I love feeling it beat beneath my hand in a steady rhythm while he talks to me. He’s gently rubbing his hand that’s around me in my hair. I’m snuggled into his side. We talk for hours, I could stay here like this all week.

Movie number one: Two for the Road (surprise surprise) 1) Who's the main actor? Audrey Hepburn and Albert Finney. 2) When did it come out? Pretty long time ago. It came out in 1967 if I’m not mistaken. 3) What's the genre? Romantic comedy and drama. 4) Do you know where it was filmed at? Yeah, as far as I know the whole film was shot on location throughout southern France. 5) How old were you when you saw it? I don’t actually remember the exact year anymore, but it was either in 2013 or 2014, which makes me 15 or 16 when I watched it for the first time.

Movie number two: Good Will Hunting 1) Who's an actress in this movie? Minnie Driver, and she did such a fantastic fucking job with her role.

2) Out of 10 stars you'd give it? 9.5. The part where Robin Williams and the actor playing the math teacher handle their differences was a bit blah for me, but the film was otherwise perfect. 3) Did it have a surprise ending? I wouldn’t call it a surprise. It was a well-deserved ending for the main character and I’m sure everyone who’s ever watched this movie rooted for such an ending as well. 4) How long was it? Around two hours? idk I never checked. 5) Did you first see it in theatres? Hahahaha definitely not. It came out five months before I was born. Movie number three: A Clockwork Orange 1) What's this movie rated? Like, in terms of parental advice or its score? I’m not sure so I’ll put both. The film in all its unedited glory got an X rating which is real fucking understandable given that, in my opinion, this was Kubrick’s most intense work; though in my research just now they were able to tone it down to R after Kubrick edited out a certain scene. As for its score, it holds an 87% in Rotten Tomatoes and 8.3/10 on IMDb. 2) Did critics approve of it? Critics definitely approved of it as a piece of film, but I’m sure it was very uncomfortable for the viewing public. 3) Who were you with when you saw it? I watched it on my own. I didn’t know what it was gonna be about, so I was in for the shock of my life when Alex and his droogs broke into the first house. 4) Did this movie make you cry? No but it made me feel uneasy. 5) Who are five actors/actresses in this movie? I only remember Malcolm MacDowell, who played the lead character. I’m honestly not familiar with the other actors. Movie number four: Revolutionary Road 1) Is the main actor your favorite actor? One of them is - Kate Winslet. I’m alright with Leonardo DiCaprio but he isn’t my favorite. 2) Do you know how old he is? Kate Winslet? Not so sure, but I think she’s like 45. 3) Did this movie make you laugh? This movie is not to be laughed at lol 4) Last time you watched it? A few months ago before they took it out of Netflix forever, ugh. 5) Are you the appropiate age to see it by yourself? Yes. And I would rather watch it by myself, because it’s a lot to take in. Movie number five: Gone with the Wind 1) What made you mad about this movie? The racism that surrounded the film makes me angry. For example, the actress who played Mammy (Hattie McDaniel) was the first black actor to be nominated for an Oscar, but she wasn’t even allowed to attend the ceremony where she was nominated in. It took one Clark Gable throwing a fit and threatening to boycott the event for the higher-ups to finally agree on Hattie attending the Oscars. 2) Was it based on a true story? It was based on real historical events, but the story itself wasn’t real. 3) Do you wish it was real in any way? It kinda was. 4) So what's it about, anyways? This is really not one of those movies you can explain in one sentence lol but uh rich privileged southern belle gets entangled in the Civil War, marries thrice and never for love, everyone around her dies, and once she’s left alone we see her fend for herself and start building a life of her own. That doesn’t even do the movie justice and if you really wanna know, best to watch all four hours of it. 5) Did they make a video game out of this movie? OMG no, that would be in such poor taste. Movie number six: Room 1) Did this movie bore you at any time? Not at all. It had me invested from start to finish. 2) Was there a kiss scene? I don’t know, I don’t think so. 3) Who was the protagonist (main character)? Brie Larson plays the lead role, but I’ve forgotten her character’s name, or if she even had one. 4) Have you seen this movie more than once? Absolutely. This was my favorite film for a brief period and I watched it everyday then. 5) Last time you saw it? 2016, probably. Movie number seven: Roman Holiday 1) What is this movie's genre? Romantic comedy. 2) Are there any kid actors in this movie? Nopes. 3) Where did it all take place? A biiiiiiig chunk of the movie was shot on location in Rome.  4) Who was the biggest star in the movie? Gregory Peck. Swoon. Fun movie fact! This was Audrey Hepburn’s feature film debut, and originally the studio was to give her a much smaller billing at the start of the movie compared to Gregory. He had an inkling Audrey was gonna end up super popular once the film got released, so he told the studio to give her equal billing, which technically made her also the big star in the movie alongside Gregory. He wasn’t wrong. 5) What year did it come out? 1953. Movie number eight: Requiem For A Dream 1) Main actor and/or actress? Oh dude, a lot. This movie didn’t fuck around with its cast lol you had Jared Leto, Ellen Burstyn, Jennifer Connelly, and Marlon Wayans. 2) Is this a one-time only movie? I have no idea what you mean by this. 3) Is it a sequel to anything? Nopes. 4) How much money did it make? Bruh I don’t know lmao? I’ll have to Google that - Wikipedia says it made $7.4 million. 5) Favorite part? It’s not my favorite part because it makes me happy, but for me the most memorable scene was when the mom was at the peak of her addiction and her refrigerator came to life. The montage in the end also gave me goosebumps. Movie number nine: Carol 1) When did you first see this movie? 2015. It was one of the factors that made Gab and I reconcile as friends, so I’m super thankful that this film allowed us to bond. 2) Did it take a second time for you to like it? Not at all. I was in love with it from the very beginning. 3) Does it have a happy ending? Yes. 4) Who would you recommend it to? People who want an LGBT film with a happy ending. 5) What's its theme song? It doesn’t really have one, but its score was composed by Carter Burwell. OH I just remembered Billie Holiday’s Easy Living was featured prominently in one scene, but it’s not really the movie’s theme song. Movie number ten: Portrait of a Lady on Fire 1) Do you still have the movie ticket? I think mine is still with Gabie, if she kept it. 2) Favorite part? Everything about this movie was beautiful. I loved when Héloïse’s dress caught on fire, when Marianne was drawing Héloïse in her sleep, when Marianne finally saw her vision come to life, when Marianne attended the exhibit and saw the painting of Héloïse...and that final fucking scene. 3) Were there any songs you knew in this movie? Nope. I don’t remember if they played any songs. 4) A quote from this movie: “In solitude, I felt the liberty you spoke of. But I also felt your absence.” and “Do all lovers feel they’re inventing something?” 5) Were the main actors/actresses a perfect match or not so much? Yes they FREAKING WERE AAAAHHHHHHHH Random Questions 1) Which one have you seen most on DVD? Also, as someone who has never actually read about the Civil War in full detail, it has also hampered my understanding of some of the events in the movie. 8) Did you see #2 the day it came out? As far as I know, no. 11) Does your best friend like #9? Gabie’s very in love with it. She once kept count of how many times she had watched it when it first leaked on the internet loooool and if I remember correctly her watch count peaked at 126. 12) Did #10 have horrible special effects? No. 13) Who directed #6? Lenny Abrahamson. 14) Did #8 scare you? Absolutely. I needed a long-ass break from everything after I finished it lmao. 15) Does #7 have a better effect at night?  My grandpa is in his late 80s. Are either one of your parents retired? If not, what do they do for a living?
 No. My mom is a manager at Walgreens and my dad works at a mechanic shop. Do you buy a lot of DVD’s, or do you tend to just watch everything online for free?
 We very rarely buy DVD anymore. We see a lot of movies in theaters, rent from Amazon or the PS4 store, and watch Netflix. Could you happily spend the day in your pajamas? Or do you prefer to be out and about doing things?
 I spend majority of my time at home in my comfy clothes. When was the last time you were in a hospital, and what was the reason?
 Back in 2012 because I had to have surgery. Does everyone in your household own their own computer? My brother and I do. My mom uses her iPhone and iPad, and my dad just uses his phone. Do you find that your feet get unusually hot at night sometimes? Not my feet, but yes I find that I tend to get hot at night. It’s been getting too warm here already and I hate it.

The next few days pass by normally as they can be. Pepper had help me out resolved two big favors that I had asked her for. After doing some cleaning around the compound and preparing some sandwiches I went to my room and looked around Tony's old room and found some old stuff including dvd's old magazines that lead back to when he first became Iron Man. I wanted to know more about the adventures and struggles he had gone through.... not to mention wanting to see how he ended up becoming Iron Man. Pepper only told me about the story about what happened to him and how he got the arc reactor. But, I wanted to see his old adventures. I placed the old Dvd into my laptop and waited for it to play on the screen. It didn't take more than a couple of minutes till the screen finally showed up. I click played and watched what appeared to be a young version of Rhodey host a press conference. 

"And now Mr. Stark has prepared a statement, he will not be taking any questions thank you." Rhodey moved aside as younger Tony walked in wearing a black suit standing in front of the press. 

"It's been a while since I was last in front of you, I got cards this time. There's been speculation that I was involved in the events that occured in the freeway and the rooftop." 

"I'm sorry Mr. Stark do you honestly excepct us to believe that was a body guard in a suit that can convinenly appear despite the fact that-" 

"I know it's confusing it is one thing to question the officials story and another different thing entirely to make wild accusations or insinuate that im a super hero." 

"I never said you where a super hero." The blond reporter from before responded back to Tony. As I watched him up there it made me happy because compared how he looked back then to when he returned five years ago. The image still plays in my head whenever I go to sleep at night. 

"yea I did because that would be fantastic. I'm just not the hero type clearly, after all the mistakes I made to the public." Rhodey and Tony whispered something to each other before Tony spoke again. He looked at his cards and said. "The truth is...... I am Iron Man." The press went insanely crazy at those words. Tony had signed and got interview more until the screen went black.

I heard a noise coming from the outside hallway so I quickly shut off the laptop and put it away. I heard a knock on the door. I got up from the bed and walked over to the door to open it with my right hand but my hand was feeling numb again and pain began to emerge once again. I cursed under my breath and had no other choice but to open it with the left hand. At the door stood Steve Rogers. "Are you alright?" He asked taking a glance over my shoulder. I stand near the door hiding my arms from him acting as normal as I could. 

I nervously laughed. "Yeah, i'm fine why would you ask that?" 

"Your son said he's been worried about you lately, according to him you haven't been sleeping well and have acted differently." Steve crossed his arms staring at me. 

"No, i'm fine it's true that I haven't been getting some sleep but I mean who could right?." A sharp pain had become worse causing me to fall down on the floor. I used the door as support. Steve came to my side immediately, "Are you okay?" he asked I leaned back towards the wall feeling my legs weak. 

"I-I'm fine..." I mumbled trying to move them but they felt like jelly, "Can you move?" he asked, "N-No..." my grip was loosening suddenly making me collapse on the ground. "HELP! BRUCE!" Steve yelled, "Hold on don't worry we'll get you some help." 

I began to freak out, why was my body suddenly having so many spasms each day? They began slowly after what happened with Thanos...then they increased little by little but were never this bad.

A few moments later I heard footsteps approaching, "What's wrong?" Bruce asked, "He can't move, his body suddenly became weak." Steve answered looking at him, "I'm gonna need you to carry him to the lab Steve." 

I felt pathetic, I was strong and here I was being carried by someone else. It was embarrassing "Yeah." his arms were then wrapped around me, he carried me bridal style. I was just praying that this would be over soon, "How long has this been happening?" Bruce asked "Not long..." 

"These symptoms aren't just from a few days this is advancing (y/n)." finally Steve sat me down on the hospital bed, Bruce immediately went to work doing different tests on my hands and legs as well. There were so many wires, "Dad?" I looked over to see my son standing there as he rubbed his eyes, "What's...going on?" he asked "It's nothing don't worry Bruce is just running some tests okay?" 

Yuki came closer and reached out to hold my hand, I held it gently his eyes were filled with worry. I smiled softly trying to reassure him, "Why don't we go and have a snack yeah?" Steve asked looking at Yuki, he turned to look at me I chuckled and nodded. "Sure go ahead I'll be there soon okay?" 

He nodded and went to Steve's side once he was gone I sighed realizing how bad my health was getting. "Is it that bad?" I asked, Bruce took his glasses off rubbing his eyes "Are you insane? Why did you hide it from everyone on the team (M/n)? You're lucky you didn't damage any nerves because of this, you need to take of yourself." 

"I am fine Bruce-" 

"No you're not. Everyone is dealing with what happened with Thanos, but that doesn't mean you need to stop taking care of yourself. Don't you realize how dangerous muscle spasms can get?!" 

I bit my lips realizing he was right but ever since she was gone my mind kept wondering what would it have been like if I was the one who had died and not her. Everyday was a struggle I would end up crying myself to sleep at times, trying to act strong for Yuki. Bruce sat down beside me, "You're not the only one who lost someone (y/n), we all did. You need to stay alive and well for your son because you're the only one he has left. Do it for him." 

"Can...this be cured?" I asked looking at him, "Little by little the twitching and movement will go away. You need to do some physical therapy and massage the area that starts to twitch. Your iron, magnesium, and vitamin B levels are down that's another reason why you feel weak. You need to eat so your body gets energy off from it, sleep is also a major factor. I know no one can sleep after..." he paused and placed his hand on my shoulder "But you need to keep going." 

"I'll do my best..." I answered, "Stay here over night tomorrow you can go back to your room. Please don't be an idiot and lack on your own health alright?" 

I chuckled, "I promise Bruce thank you for the help." he nodded and walked out leaving me alone in my own thoughts. I definitely can't have Bruce tell Steve or my son about my health. After last night's dream I have to make it. 

The afternoon had come to an end the night had fell upon me. I took a glance at the clock and noticed it was already past eight as I was about to turn on my stomach when I heard the sound of a door open and close it was Yuki walking inside with a worried face carrying the laptop I was using. "Dad are you feeling better?"

I nodded sitting up from the bed not showing the pain that still lingers. "Of course, sport i'm fine just haven't been eating my vegetables daily. So you have to make sure you never stop eating them." Yuki walked over sitting next me on the bed and hugged his side placing my head on top of his. "What you got there" I pointed a finger at my laptop. 

"It's your laptop can I borrow it to watch videos. Uncle Steve already checked my homework." He said looking at me. 

I sigh. "Sorry kiddo but there's something I have to do on it plus, how about we watch a movie together it could be in Japanese or in english." 

"Really dad! But, wait I have school tommorow." He frowned but all I did was pinch his cheek. "But tomorrow's Friday so its no big deal only this time im letting it slide but only because I need some rest. Why not, make some popcorn and tell me which movie you want to watch." We both stood up from the bed. 

"Thanks dad, hmmm I don't know pick whichever movie you want dad your the best dad." He said before hugging me and planting a kiss on my cheek then taking off running out of the room. 

I watched him running out of the room with a sad smile. I turned the laptop on and exited the video then turning the laptop off. I walked out of the room and went up to our bedroom to put the computer away. Once I left the room I made my way towards the living room and took a seat while Yuki was busy in the kitchen making popcorn. I could hear him talking to himself about how i'm the coolest dad ever and quite frankly it makes me sad that I won't be able to do this with him forever. I turned the television on and flicked through demand for any movies to watch. 

"Popcorn is ready otosan!" Yuki shouted coming with a bowl of popcorn taking a seat next to me. "Great let's watch the movie." I hit played and got comfortable eating some popcorn with him. Every time they made a joke or did something funny he would laugh pointing at the television. I would only stare at him in awe not wanting the night to end. I rest my hand on the couch feeling nothing but pain. Half way through the movie Yuki had already fallen asleep. I reach for the control and turned the television off before standing up in front of him grabbing the half eaten bowl off from him and picked him up carrying Yuki over my shoulder. I winced with each step but I ignored the pain and went to the bedroom. After I brought him back I gently covered him with the blankets. I layed next to him running a hand over his head planting a kiss on his cheek and turned the lights off before grabbing the laptop once again before walking out of the room and shutting the door after me. 

I returned back to the living room and sat back on the couch before opening the laptop to do some research of ways that we can bring back everyone. I had taken some books from the shelves but as I searched for answers none of the books here could give me clues or ideas on how to bring them back. I did some research on the laptop looking for ways that can be redone or travel back in time but some of the information was just fictional stuff and ridiculous things that was impossible to do. I yawned as I continued to search on the internet. I found an artical about time traveling but it didn't provide more information than. "Time travel into the future is inescapable, a consequence of the structure of the universe.Time traveling to the past, or returning back from a trip to the future, is a somewhat more challenging proposition." I sigh feeling annoyed. "Come on, [M/N] think hard what can you do to go back in time and get everyone to return? Think hard." I said to myself.

The compound had been destroyed battleships where arriving rather quickly the sky was mixes in between sun and cloudy and Thanos was standing tall with a big smirk planted on his face looking down at me. I looked at my surroundings Steve was on the ground covered in blood and bruises. Tony was wearing his suit of armor he was laying on the ground unconsious with a broken armor. The arc reactor that kept him alive wasn't on. Suddenly I had found myself limping towards to Tony. "He's dead and it's all your fault. Do you really believe you'll be able to save him without a useless arm." The voice of Thanos echoe inside my head. I looked confused then down at myself to see my right arm missing. 

"From all the species in the world you human's really sure are the weakest of them all. Hand over the stones if you want to live." I shook my head feeling a rush of anxiety I continued making my way towards Tony with tears in my eyes. "Tony, Tony, Tony wake up you can't be dead." A sudden gripped on my legs stop me in my tracks. 

"Tony's dead because of you." Steve said. I shook my head feeling scared. "No, it's not true." I said convincing myself. "This is all a dream none of this is real. Thor killed Thanos he's not alive anymore." 

"Tony is gone because of your selfishness do you think abandoning him was a good idea?" I turned around to find Wanda standing there along with Vision both looking at me. 

"Mr. Stark changed because of you. The arc reactor he received was your doing and now he's dead. He gave your his life to save you." Vision said and soon everyone even the creatures we fought back in Wakanda all surrounded me. "It's not true! I didn't kill Tony!" I said yelling. 

I suddenly snapped feeling someone shaking me. "Dad are you okay?" Yuki asked. I snapped the moment my eyes landed on him. My breathing becoming heavily as the feeling of my heart started to beat fast. 

"Is everyone alright I heard screamings coming from the living room." Natasha came rushing to our aid. 

"Sorry, I scared you and Yuki I had a nightmare and guess I woke up screaming." I answered yawning. 

"What's all this?" She asked looking at the messy table with papers scattered all around along with the laptop with low battery. "Nothing just doing some research on how to be a better dad..... Yuki go get your backpack ready it's time to head out." 

"Okay i'll be right back, can you come with us Nat?" Yuki asked hugging her side. 

"Sorry, but I have some things to do after dropping you off from school." 

Yuki frowned. "But, Bruce said you had to rest because you don't eat your vegetables dad." Natasha had a suspicious look in her eyes. "You heard him why don't I take him instead." She offered. 

I shook my head. "Thanks Nat, but I will take him i'm feeling much better just have to eat vegetables and i'll be good to go so come on." I stood up from the chair falling to the floor. "Dad!" Yuki helped me get up from the floor with Nat's help. 

"You aren't alright, i'll take him to school you stay here." They helped me stand up setting me over to the couch. "I'm sick and tired of everyone telling me the same damn think over and over again. I said that I'm fine and no one believes me why can't you all just butt out and leave me the hell alone." I said. Yuki stood still shocked while Nat looked hurt and mad. 

Nat eyed Yuki before standing behind him. "Come on, let's go." She said. 

I sigh. "I didn't mean to say that." Yuki grabbed his backpack and gave me a kiss on the cheek before following behind Natasha. "You wanted to be left alone so i'm giving you the opportunity. You know you should really attend one of Steve's group meetings." She exited the room with Yuki leaving me alone. What I didn't know was that I had hurt them both. 

I ran my hands through my hair feeling upset. "This is why I don't want to tell anyone of my condition. I don't want to be treated like a weakling." I said to myself. 

I went to the bathroom and found myself staring at one of the mirrors. My body tone was no longer the nice shade of brown skin tone but really pale tone. I had bags under my eyes. My once black hair had a few specs of white hair. Old age is somewhat catching up to me. I also lost a few pounds. The muscles around my arms where beginning to sag. I felt completely useless. No matter how much I continue to work out and train it's just not the same feeling anymore.

A bit after Natasha arrived from taking Yuki to school she went straight to the conference room. I decided that the best way to apologize to her was to prepare her one of the sandwiches she likes to eat. I headed for the kitchen to prepare the meal for her. After I finished her sandwich I walked to the conference room and saw her talking with the others through the hologram. I knocked on the glass door showing her the plate and a glass of juice. She sigh before motioning me to come inside. "I made you a sandwich and juice as an apology for earlier." I said placing the plate and glass in front of her. 

"It's fine." She replied back looking back at Rhodey. "Hey, Rhodey sorry for interrupting your meeting." I apologized. 

Rhodey looked a bit concerned at my image but didn't think much of it. "It's good to see you [M/N]. Anyway as I was saying It's definitely Barton. What he's done here, what he's been doing for the last few years... I mean, the scene that he left... I gotta tell you, there's a part of me that doesn't even want to find him." In an abrupt moment of silence, she tries to chew her tears and emotional feelings as she eats the sandwich I made for her. "Will you find out where he's going next?" 

"Nat." Rhodey stated. "Please." 

"Okay. then Rhodey cuts off his call. Nat starts to cry as she tries to hold back her tears miserably. 

"It's okay to cry Nat, I don't know who this Barton guy is but it seems like he's important to you. So don't hold yourself back from crying. I also wanted to apologize to you for acting the way I did." 

Nat shook her head. "Don't apologize I also said some stuff... none of this has been easy so I understand." 

"You know I'd offer to cook you dinner but you seem pretty miserable already." Out of nowhere, Steve slumps over a bookshelf, in the same mood as he is in the therapy session, as Nat wipes off the tears off her face. "[M/N] how are you feeling." he asked. "Hanging there." I responded. 

"You here to do your laundry?" Natasha asked taking a sip of her juice. 

"To see a pair of friends actually. You two and also came to check on [M/N]'s Well being." He answered eyeing us. 

"Clearly, your friend is fine." She answered. 

"You know I saw a pod of whales when I was coming up the bridge. There's fewer ships, cleaner water." 

"He's right. Yuki has told me a lot about it." I said interrupting their conversation. 

"You know, if you're about to tell me to look on the bright side. Um... I'm about you to hit you in the head with a peanut butter sandwich." She say's joking finally smiling for once. 

"Sorry. Force of habit You know, I keep telling everyone they should move on and... grow. Some do. But not us." Steve walks over to us taking a seat on one of the chairs. I stood standing up next to Nat. 

"If I move on, who does this?" Nat asked. "I could take care off this once in a while there's no need for you to do all of this alone." I said.

"Maybe it doesn't need to be done." I looked at Steve confused. "I used to have nothing. Then I got this. This job... this family. And I was... I was better because of it. And even though... they're gone... I'm still trying to be better. I also gained a nephew who if it wasn't for him I don't know how I would be able to control myself. He's the only one who's been able to make me smile after all that's happened." I smiled to myself feeling happy hearing her talk about how Yuki has made an impact on her. 

"We both need to get a life. [M/N] already has a life being a father so its our turn now don't you think?" He asked. 

"You first." She answered back. I was about to say something but stopped when a camera footage pops up in front of us, showing a man with a Van behind him. 

"Uh...Oh! Hi. Hi! Is anyone home? This is Scott Lang. We met a few years ago, at the airport? In Germany? I got really big, and I had my mask on. You wouldn't recognize me."

"Is this an old message?" I asked as she stood up looking at the camera too. 

"It's the front gate." She said. 

"Ant-man? Ant-man, I know you know that. I need to talk to you guys." I soon realized that this man was going to be the one we brought everyone back.

Babysitting

Request:  Hi! I just read your dele imagine and since I am currently obsessed with him, could you please write one of him and reader spending a day babysitting a friend’s kid? Like dele being so cute and actually really comfortable with kids around! It would be amazing and you write perfectly x (Anon)

“I think I might have to cancel today’s plan. I’m really sorry, Dele. My friend called me at the last minute and told me she needed a baby sitter. Actually it was more like she begged me.”

You could hear your boyfriend chuckling on the other side of the phone. You and Dele had been dating for about four months now. Because of both your busy schedules the two of you didn’t really get much of a chance to spend time together. Most of your interactions were through the phone or computer. The time that you would get off, he would be busy and vice versa. It was rare that the two of you had time off at the same time. Because you did today, you had wanted to spend the time together. However, that was when your friend had called.

“It’s okay. Don’t worry about it.”

Despite his words, you couldn’t help but feel bad. You were just about to say so when the sound of the doorbell cut you off.

“I’ll call you later. My friend and her son probably just got here. You know what, I’ll text you once their gone and if it isn’t too late then maybe we could hang out.”

Hanging up the phone, you rushed to go and answer the door. Opening, you saw your best friend standing with her son. When her son saw you, he flung himself into your arms. You could help but smile. The little child barely reached your waist and you could tell that he was happy to see you. Likewise, you had missed your godson. It had been a few days since you last saw him.

“He’s already had his dinner so you don’t have to worry about feeding him. I’m really sorry for asking you this at the last minute.” Your friends words sounded so sincere you couldn’t help but smile and shake your head.

“Don’t worry about it. You and Danny haven’t had any time to yourselves in months now. Have fun. Don’t worry about this little guy. I have a lot of fun things planned for us. I’ll tire him out and have him in bed by bedtime. Have fun and enjoy yourself. Just, don’t do anything I wouldn’t do.” You couldn’t keep the teasing tone out of your voice or control the wink that you sent your friend.

A slight blush formed on her cheeks but she was smiling widely at you. After giving you the number of the place that her and her husband were going to for dinner, just in case, she left, leaving you with your godson.

“So, what should we do first, little man?” You lifted him up in your arms and carried him into the house.

“FSH!!!”

Like all other times that your godson had come over to your house, the first thing his focus went to was your fish tank. It wasn’t a super big fish tank but it was decent sized. You had three fishes in there and usually when Sam came over you would allow him to feed the fish. This morning you had already fed them, you hadn’t known at that time that he would be coming over. However, since you usually fed them twice a day, you decided to let him do the second feeding.

Samuel squirmed in your arms letting you know that he wanted to be put down. You set him on the ground and he set of running towards the fish tank. You followed after him.

“I didn’t feed them their dinner yet. You want to do it?”

He vigorously nodded his head up and down. With a smile on your face, you pulled out the fish food from the cabinet below the fish tank. Handing it to him, you watched as he took a bit of the fish food and put it in the tank. Afterwards he watched with intent as the fish swam towards the food. Despite how many times he had seen this act, he always found it to be a wonder. His eyes were always full of such innocent awe.

He quickly got bored of that, however, as his eyes moved back to you who had been watching him with a smile on your face. When you saw him look over, you knew that he wanted to move onto the next activity. Standing up you gave him your hand, which he grabbed, and led him over to the sofa in your living room.

“What say you and I watch a movie? You can pick which one we watch.”

When he nodded, you walked over to the case in which you kept all your children’s movies. You had started building this case when your little brother had been born and had added to it ever since. It always came in handy whenever you babysat one of your friends kids.

When Samuel picked out a movie that he liked, one that you had seen a couple times before, you put the movie in the DVD player. Moving back over to the couch, you pulled up the blanket and wrapped it around you and Sam, who had cuddled up to you. His attention was focused entirely on the movie that the two of you were watching.

About fifteen minutes into the movie, you heard the doorbell ring once again. No one else was supposed to be coming over tonight and you doubted that your friends date was going to be that short so you wondered who it could possibly be. Samuel looked up at you with a frown on his face and you knew that he was curious as to who it could be as well. Pulling yourself away from him, you told him to keep watching the movie while you went to go answer the door.

When you opened the door, you almost couldn’t believe who was on the other side. “What are you doing here?”

Dele stood outside with a huge smile on his face. He was dressed in blue jeans, a t-shirt, a white athletic sweatshirt, and trainers. “Well, since you and I couldn’t go out tonight because you were babysitting, I figured that I would come and visit you. At least we could spend some time together.”

Your heart melted slightly at his words. You felt really happy that even thought you said that you couldn’t meet him that he came to meet you.  It meant a lot to you that he made that effort.

“Come on in. Sam and I are watching a movie. I’ll introduce you to him.”

Grabbing Dele by the hand, you lead him over to the living room where once again Sam was fully immersed into the film. When he heard you come in, however, he looked up at you. His eyes didn’t stay on you for long. The quickly looked past you and landed on Dele. Being a football fan, Samuel’s eyes became huge when he saw your boyfriend. The movie long forgotten, you could tell that your godson was slightly star struck by your boyfriend.

“Y/N, Th-that’s…”

Dele let go of your hand and walked over to where Samuel stood staring at him wide eyed. Kneeling down to be eye to eye with the six year old, he held out his hand for a handshake, a pleasant smile on his face the whole time.

“You must be Samuel. I’ve heard a lot about you from Y/N. I’m Dele. It’s very nice to meet you.”

Dele’s words seemed to snap your godson out of the trance that he had fallen into. With a huge smile on his face, he also held out his hand and placed it into Dele’s much larger ones. You couldn’t help but slightly smile at the sight. You had always had a soft spot for men who could get along with children and so at the sight in front of you something melted within you.

“So, what movie are you watching Samuel?”

At Dele’s words Samuel’s attention went back to the movie that was still playing but had been forgotten about. Because he still had Dele’s hand in his he pulled your boyfriend onto the couch.

“Me and Y/N were watching The Incredibles. You should watch with us.”

When the both of them were seated on the couch, you decided to join them. Taking a seat on the left side of Samuel, because Dele was seated on the right, you once more picked up the blanket and put it over you guys. However, this time in stead of draping it over two people, you draped it over three.

Your eyes met Dele’s over Samuel’s head and you both smiled at one another. Even if you were babysitting and Dele was just here to give you company, it felt nice just being able to spend time together.

When the movie was over you looked over and realized that both Samuel and Dele had fallen asleep. Samuel, who had previously been cuddled up with you was now halfway sprawled across Dele’s body who was holding onto him so that he didn’t fall over. The pair of them made quite the sight and you couldn’t help the smile that formed on your face when you saw them together. Usually, it took Samuel a while to warm up to someone that he just met, he was a shy boy, but he seemed to be get along with Dele almost instantly. You were glad. They were both very important people in your life and so you were glad that they liked one another.

Removing the cover from yourself you decided that it would probably be best if you took Samuel into the bed in the guest room. He would be more comfortable there and also there was less chance of him falling and hurting himself. You moved over to where Samuel was laying, almost on top of Dele and tried to carefully pry him out of your boyfriend’s arms without waking either of them. You succeeded only half way. Sam remained asleep, however, Dele woke up.

“Wh-What’s going on?” His words were slightly slurred but that was to be expected of someone just waking up.

“I’m going to put Sam to bed.” Dele simply nodded in response to your question.

Picking up your grandson, you carefully carried him from the living room into the guest bedroom where he always stayed whenever he came over. Leaving a nightlight on in the room, you closed the door part way. If he called out for you in the middle of the night, you would be able to hear him.

Walking back into the living room, you noticed that Dele seemed much more awake now then he was before.  He was sipping on a cup of what you could only assume to be tea. While you were putting Sam to bed, he must have made a cup for himself. Hearing you walk back into the living room, he looked up and smiled when he saw you. He picked up the extra cup that was on the living room table and held it out to you as you walked back over to the sofa.

“Here, I made you a cup as well. Figured it would help keep you awake. You look exhausted.”

You couldn’t help but smile at his words. It was true, you were exhausted. You hadn’t quite realized how exhausted until he mentioned it to you. Thanking him, you took the cup from him and carefully took a sip. The warm liquid did it’s job miraculously and warmed your whole body. It also helped you feel much more relaxed but alert.

“How was the rest of the movie? I didn’t even realize that I dozed off.” Dele’s words cut through the silence that had formed as you were drinking your beverage.

“It was good. I’d already seen it before. I was really only watching it for Sam. He seems to really like the movie.”

At the mention of Sam, you saw a smile form on Dele’s face. “He’s a good kid.”

You couldn’t help but nod in agreement. You might be a bit biased but to you, Sam was one of the best kids you knew. To hear Dele say that, you couldn’t help but feel slightly like a proud parent. Even if he wasn’t biologically related to you.

“He is. I’m surprised he warmed up to you so quickly. Generally it takes him a while to like someone.”

Dele seemed proud of the fact that he could get your godson to like him. “Well, what can I say? I guess I just have a way with kids.”  

You couldn’t help but laugh at the overconfidence in his voice. You knew he was just joking but you also knew that what he said was true. There was just something about his presence that put people at ease around him. You had felt it when the two of you first met and you knew that your godson felt it as well this night.

Moving closer to Dele you placed a small kiss on his lips. It was a simple peck but you hoped that it was enough to convey to him how much him coming over tonight meant to you. You cuddled close to your boyfriend but before you knew it, you had joined Sam in the land of dreams. It might not have been the grand date night that Dele and you had had planned, but it had been a great night nonetheless.

1. What is your hobby? 

I draw and do cosplay! And I guess making Myu reviews counts too?

2. What is your special skill? 

I don’t really think I have any special skills?? Unless you consider my (most of the time) fast reflexes and how my left index finger makes a little click when I bend it :0 .

3. What are your strengths and weaknesses?

I guess my strengths are in my artistic abilities and my way of speaking?? Like the way I handle words and such. And I think giving advice is also one of my strengths. My weaknesses I guess are my wavering faith/belief in myself and how self deprecating I can be at times. Yeah I think that’s all :0 .

4. What is your favorite color?

I actually don’t have one favorite color so I’ll just list colors/color combos I like:

-Red, blue and white -Pink, blue/teal and purple (with either gold or silver accents) (and maybe white)

-Midnight blue

5. What is your favorite animal? 

I really like birds but sometimes dolphins are pretty neat :^ .

6. Which food are you into lately? 

Ice cream and cup noodles (not together) I think...I’m not really sure, I eat too much R.I.P .

7. What is a thing you never lose to anyone?

I think it’s my pride/dignity. I know, it’s a pretty bold answer but I honestly can’t think of anything else? And I can’t really think of a time where I crashed and burned so hard that I lost either one of those things. 

8. What is your most treasured item? 

I have too many treasured items but I’d think letters I received from friends and my parents are my most treasured.

9. What is your cooking specialty? 

I don’t really cook so I’m not really sure :^( .

10. What is the thing you want the most at the moment? 

To de-stress and to be happy/enjoy myself.

11. What is the thing you are most scared of? 

Death...

12. What is the thing you were happy about this year? 

I’m happy that I got to become closer to some people and I was able to make new friends!! I’m also happy that I got to step out of my comfort zone at times and I got to experience a whole lot of stuff this year.

13. What is the thing you were sad about this year? 

Oh there’s a lot but, I don’t wanna mention that on here.

14. What is the thing you regretted this year? 

I guess I had some missed opportunities but there are just too many things to mention.

15. What is the thing you were angry about this year? 

Too many to mention.

16. What is the job that gave you a sense of fulfillment this year? 

I’m still a student so I don’t have a job but, I joined my school’s diplomatic services so I guess that’s it!

17. What has changed about you since you entered the com-myu-nity? 

I think my confidence has gone up, especially with making new friends. I think my writing and observational abilities got a bit better too since I started making Myu reviews.

18. Which character would you play in myu? 

For an Inner Senshi, I’d love to play Jupiter or Venus. For an Outer Senshi, I’d love to play Pluto or Saturn. As for villains, I’d love to play Zoisite or Black Lady. But to be honest if I were given any role I didn’t mention, it would be pretty interesting!!

19. If you were to form a collab now, who would it be with? 

Uhhhhh I’m not sure if this is meant for the com-myu-nity or not but if it is then I’m still not sure because I’d love to collab with anyone!!

20. What do you love about Sera Myu nowadays? 

I love how it’s still ongoing and how it never fails to charm people. Sure some people prefer the older Myus than new or it’s the other way around but, I think most people get a certain charm from both sides which makes the world of Myu so fun to be in.

21. Which cast member catches your attention the most at the moment? 

A cast member that always catches my attention is Hikari of course but at the moment it’s any of the actresses I follow on Instagram. I don’t really have one in particular because every time they post, it definitely catches my attention.

22. Which cast member would you want as your significant other? 

AW GEE I WONDER WHO. My forever love Hikari of course ;v; .

23. If you were to marry a cast member, who would it be? 

Same answer as mentioned above :^) .

24. If you would go to a deserted island, which cast member would you like to go with you? 

Wow these questions are so specific. I honestly don’t know?? I mean, I would say Hikari but I feel like I’m putting her in too many random situations with myself lmao so maybe I’d bring Momoko (Okuyama). She’d be super fun to be with!!

25. If you were born again, which cast member would you like to be? 

Hmm, I’m not really sure. Maybe Anza?? I wanna see how it feels to have a nice voice and to do all sorts of dance moves and of course, how it feels to be Sailor Moon!!

26. Which Sera Myu production would you want to be a part of? 

Maybe Saturn Fukkatsu? Because of all the circus stuff?? But maybe a Stars Myu like StarsK or Le Mouvment Final because Stars is such a fun and emotional arc I just, aaaaaaaaaaaaaa. If you haven’t noticed by now, I’m very indecisive on most of the questions.

27. If you were to create your own kingdom, what kind of country would you want it to be? 

A peaceful one where all people get along and see each others as equals. One where people can enjoy their lives to the fullest.

28. What is an interesting book or manga you read recently? 

The Promised Neverland!! Still not done reading it though.

29. What is an interesting movie you watched recently? 

I haven’t watched any movies recently :^( .

30. What is your favorite Sera Myu song at the moment? 

I haven’t listened to much Myu music as of recent but I always love listening to La Soldier. :>

31. What is your favorite Sera Myu song choreography at the moment? 

I never really had a favorite choreography but the one I keep thinking of now is the one for Honoo no Messenger because of that one TLC clip lmao.

32. What is your favorite Sera Myu costume at the moment? 

Eternal Sailor Moon (both Bandai and Nelke).

33. What is your favorite Myu at the moment? 

I’ve only seen the First Stage so far (and I still have to watch EienK aaaaaa) but my favorite is Stars Kaiteiban/StarsK!!

34. What is your favorite Myu cast? 

Stuck between Saturn Fukkatsu and StarsK...

35. Is there something you say a lot recently? 

Frick, yeehaw, o and heck.

36. What would you do if you could plan a Fan Kansha? 

I’m really not sure of this since I’ve never planned events except for birthdays. I think I’d just keep it as it is?? Well in terms of what’s in the event at least. But maybe I would add in some stuff for engagement with foreign fans? So at least they’ll be able to participate/enjoy the event somehow.

37. What do you hope to see Sera Myu doing in the future?

I hope to see them branching out more to their international audience. They’re beginning to do that with the Super Live but hopefully they do the same with other productions. And I hope they have more audience engagement like Bandai Myu’s Fan Kanshas.

38. What kind of person do you want to be in 5 years? 

I want to be a person that I’d be satisfied with. I hope that I’ll be happy where I am and I have some kind of fulfillment. 

39. What has been a memorable concert or event this year? 

I’ve only been to one concert in my entire life but I think the most memorable event I’ve had so far this year was my very first sleepover with my friends!!

40. What do you want to do in your private life this year? 

Relax I guess?? I don’t know, I haven’t thought about it especially since I hardly get to do anything because of school.

41. What kind of job would you like to do in the future? 

I’d wanna be an animator or a psychologist! And if those don’t work out then I just wanna be a freelance artist :^) .

42. Do you have a hairstyle you would like to try in the future? 

I’d really wanna try and get an undercut.

43. What Sera Myu merchandise would you love to have?

Hm, maybe the Bandai Myu box sets? Or maybe just DVDs in general. Oh and posters too!! I also wanna get a light stick :0 . A.K.A I want too much ;v; .

44. Where would you want Sera Myu to come to? 

It would be really nice if Sera Myu was a global thing but, I really hope they come here to the Philippines!! Whether it’s at a con or an actual stage performance, I just really wanna see one/see the cast ;v; .

45. If you could have a holiday with any cast member, what do you want to do?

Oh gosh uh this is very sudden but!! Keep doing what you’re doing!! I love reading your posts even though I can’t understand majority of them and some really do concern me :’^) . I’m lov u vv much pls remember that and I only hope for the best for u!!
